interesting set up this week. the lee inclusion is good. would be in to cover the extra talls of norf this week as Sav is back to haunt us again. dyson's form last week had to give him a game. solly wont play so JJ will come in to the team.

no second ruckman so hille will have to do most which is good because we are better with him there. but who rucks with him resting. bradley? who then covers norf talls with thomson, Sav, petrie and either hale or there other ruckman mcintosh down there.

also we have done nothing to improve our forward line. we have been getting it in there but not kicking big enough scores to win games. we need to find goal kickers. why no lovett? he always adds something and we need forward pressure cause thats what we also lack.

would have also kept ryder in the team.

Thats why we should enclude Lovett and Jolly for Solomon and Hird. If hird n solly r out there, they're not going to be 100% fit and we need all the pace we can get, with soo many talls the kangas have in.

With Nathan Thompson and Sav Rocca in the forward line I'd say that a solid defender like Solomon might be handy.....

WTF hasnt jolley got a game, he is far more worthy than any other player yet to debut on our list, he has been in the best for the last year and a half in VFL.

I'm not a fan of Sheedy and I won;t noramlly defend hiim as I think our situation has a lot to do with his ability to implement a gameplan and make us play as a team, but I digress.

Lovett - thats iffy, but his old man passed away and he clearly is having problems off-field - get it sorted - we did the same with Rioli a few seasons back.

One ruckman says more about Cartledges future than anything. gone. Keps will ruck and really Hille should be rucking - since we tyook him out of the ruck he has been terrible.

JJ being droped is good - sick of sub par performances from senior players. If he is not fit, he shouldn't play in the seniors. simple. I blame Sheedy for this one - should never have played at the start of the season.

Lee in - justified by form. We should try out our tall backs, its not like we have many good ones.

I reckon Dyson is the interesting one - is he on the edge of being given the @rse at seasons end. Has had injury problems but some of his efforts have been soft, lazy and unaccountable. Needs to lift his game as he is what we need long term.

Lovett was far from his best, and far from AFL quality at Bendigo - why would be get selected on that performance?

The roos aren't playing MacIntosh, Hale and Petrie will be doing the rucking hence Hille and Bradley should be fine with the rucking.

JJ got 2 kicks last week, and they probably went to the opposition.. Hardly surprising that he is dropped.

Lee has been in the best at Bendigo for the last few weeks, he deserves to be in the side.

We're not on 5 wins anyway, wins mean very little to Essendon at the moment. thats not to say that Essendon won't be trying to win. They will be. But the young players are going to have to be the players that win us the game. We need these players to get better if from 2007 onwards we are going to be better then 2006.

Johns is not a backmen.
Simple as that.
I love him up forward.
Has shown some GREAT signs this year already.
He just need better delivery.

probably archer or pratt. i dont really know anyone else in there backline

Dont get me wrong Hird is the greatest player ive ever seen, but with a injury cloud around him you dont want him goin into the game at the Telstra Dome with alread dodgy hamstrings. If he plays play him at FF and leave him to play like Buckley plays for collingwood some games.
