One of my earliest childhood memories is my old man playing Ted Mulry Gang's rendition of "Dinah" to me & my sister for a laugh. It went waaaaay over my head back then: I just loved all the freaky sound effects

Since the seventies I've encountered Ted Mulry on some '70s compilation records. "Jump In My Car" was possibly the best song to come out of Oz in the '70s; along with The Saints' "I'm Stranded".

RIP Ted.

Just horrible to see so many key figures in the world passing away. Commiserations to the families, friends and fans of Alliyah, Tel Mulry and Shirley Strachan as well football legend Fos Williams. Just a tragic time in the world for deaths.
