new movie coming out not sure if anyone's seen the preview for it but looks a really good funny movie

Saw ad of this few weeks ago actually, first was like "wtf? are they serious?" then saw it was from the makers of Family Guy, and I was sold. :p

Questioning the selection of Mark Wahlberg as the main character though, wouldnt be my first choice for comedy.. unless they do need a straight-up character like in "The Other Guys".

Will watch this, seemed to be aimed at the immature family guy/south park crowd..

Looks like it will be good, Seth McFarlane or how ever his name is spelt is a bloody hilarious bloke - hopefully he brings his good comedy style to this movie and not so much is Family Guy style.
 
Hasn't America already made an adaptation of Wilfred for television? Now they've made him a teddy bear for the full-length feature film?? How odd.

This looks like a rental to me.

Anyone else seen the trailer liking the look of this? Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and Seth McFarlane (Family Guy) voicing the bear.

Something about a foul mouthed cuddly little bear that really makes me wanna see it.

Saw it last night. Decidedly average. Ted has Peter Griffen's voice so he's a cross between Peter Griffen and Brian.

Whilst Family Guy is great it's hit and miss on the gags - some don't work but for the ones that do makes it well worth while and puts it into "great show" category.

Ted has that Adam Sandler/Seth Rogan movie formula feel about it.

Wait til it comes out on bit torrent.

something that caused upper facial muscles to move north.

some, well 2 scene in particular, in the trailer wasn't correct. obviously used another phrase during the car accident scene.

and the other related to teds interview. obviously couldnt put what was said in the trailer

Go and watch it at the movies, at the end of the movie people were clapping in the cinemas. Pretty much everyone was laughing.
 
The preview is very funny.

Curious to see whether the movie lives up to it- comedies are particularly susceptible to the 'awesome preview/distinctly average movie' syndrome.

You'll enjoy the movie then. In hindsight I should have seen the preview before seeing the movie :(
