I know it's not the end of the world etc and I know that there are way more important things to be worried and stressed about.
But to me it's something I've worked my butt off for all this year, not to mention previous years, and damnit yeah I am stressed because if I don't get into law it will severely impact on my ability to become a lawyer, surprisingly, and will undoubtedly affect the course of the rest of my entire life.

Well I worked my arse off to get into to UWA, been there 2 years and probably won't go back coz I worked too hard to get there and now struggle

already failed architecture at uwa

failed nutrition at curtin

but not failing fine arts , Im taking over from Dean Alston, its true, you know it, its not what you know, its who you know

I dont get this it affects the rest of my life thing. Im sorry but no it doesnt. If worst comes to worse you can redo your exam, get into Uni through TAFE, stat tests and perish the thought even repeat Yr 12. There are plenty of ways to get into Uni. Dont listen to your teachers who just pile the pressure on as if your life is over as if you fail some exam when you are 17 years old. Its bullshxt.

I know all this but still... I can't explain it.... I'm just stressed about it.... I hate being dissappointed. And dissappointing other people. Oh well, I'll get over it sooner or later!

I think you should be forced to work for a year fulltime before going to uni..... you appreciate just how easy uni is then with all the days off and come and go whenever you like lectures and 3 months off at the end of the year.

yes, once you start to think of schooling like a job, it seems easy. studying for 1 hour seems like nothing after doing 8 hours the day before at work

Why do people do an arts degree? :)
I would think there can be no better reason than because it interests them? Contrary to what people say you can get a good paying job with an arts degree.

Congrats on your English score, that result is very good. That is a high score for that subject. Managed to scrape a 51% raw score for the TEE exam in that subject myself.

got 95.6, not as good as I'd hoped.

86.2 in music, (A)
69.5 in English Literature (B)
69.4 in French (B)
69.3 in Discrete Maths (A)

Got scaled down 20% in maths, bit of a surprise.

Ah well I'm over it now.

Thats still very good. I would have loved marks like that

In 2002 when i sat the TEE i got a TER of 96.2

Geography 78.8 (A)
Chemistry 77.1 (A)
Physics 73.4 (B)
Calculus 72.4 (A)
Applicable Maths 69 (A)
English 59.9 (B)

Should have got a lot higher in Applicable, but I didnt finish the straightforward exam they had that year and that ********ed me off. I should havd had 97. But thats life and Im over it. After two years at uni (one in WASM in Kalgoorlie and then moving to UWA to start Engineering/Science) TEE results mean bugger all and are just forgotten about.
