Fall Out Boy

His run in the last quarter stunk of arrogance, but what wonderful arrogance.

Grabbed the ball, with Nick Ries on his tail. Despite Ries only being a step behind, he still took four bounces and didn't panic.

He knew that he had everyone covered for speed, and knew that if needed, he could just whack it into second gear and pull away.

You'd be lucky to find 1 in 100 footballers with such composure and confidence, let alone an 18 year old in his first season.

The kid is a Rolls Royce.

Yeah i am a huge fan of Tenace ever since that goal against Carlton in round 2. Damn he will be better than Judd.

He made Joel Smith look like he was running in slow motion. The boy has the skills to pay the bills.

I liked when Sando was asked who would win out of KT & Woc. He said it wouldn't even be close.

RE: Archie's strike of arrogance, i vividly remember an angry Tenace demanding the ball from Kingsley early in the 1st (?) quarter.

Kent was lining up on the boundary, approximately 50 metres out, and Kane was standing umarked 55 from goal screaming for it. Kingsley missed the goal from memory and i thought to myself, "Should have passed it to Archie, he would have nailed it home :)"

Anybody else see it?

I personally thought it said a lot about his character - Really enthusiastic and determined to see us succeed. Or else, just wanted to kick another for his personal stats ;)

You like being that way, adds to the mystique, apparently.

I'll have to ask the "Good Doctor" and "The Slaughterman" before i get back to you on that one.

A Rolls Royce? Stylish Yes but little else of him reminds me of a Roller. This 10A has serious tow and I dont see to many Rollers being driven like that. I always thought McLoud was like a Porshe "turned on a bit, great low to the ground, lovely balance smooth acceleration" but 10A, boy when he slams it up a gear he does it with confidence in his own speed, to take bounce like he has, to run on to the goals and back yourself. He might ooze class but he has a need for speed thats seems to burn in his veins. Mix this with his Italian heritage and theres only one vehicle that I could compare him to. The Great Prancing Horse from Maranello, Ferrari. He is one in all but colour (as we know they must all be red).
I don’t think the “Maranello” or the “Ferrari” handle will ever stick as a nick name but when over the next decade I watch him leave others in his wake, making them look like there running in mud , I’ll be thinking of him as our own version of the most famous, speed orientated, style influencing Car manufacturer and totally dominating Race Car Team that has ever existed or probably ever will.

Everyone has been comparing Tenace to Judd, but as I said to catattack on Sunday, "geez Judd is like Tenace isnt he" its not Judd we should be comparing to Tenace :p :p
