Boy does he need to learn how to kick! Absolutely shocking with his disposals today after making some good progress in recent weeks. Went backwards bigtime today.

Most frustrating player on geelongs list! Followed by Byrnes

It's becoming clear that when the side is dominating, he's a valuable player. However, when the pressure is on like today, his kicking is not up to scratch and creates turnovers.

I cant say too many players played well or hit targets today.
Didn't seem to adjust to the Crows closing down our game - seemed to be a lot of errors. Turned sound off after Corey's out of bounds miss from in front of goal - amazing the mistakes you see when you do not have ex-players pissing in your ear all the time with 'special comments', mistakes by players and pathetic umpiring decisions. Where was SJ for most of the game? - saw him again unable to run after a nearby Adelaide player which is a bit of a worry. Good win anyway! Thank God for Gablett !

A steaming pile of faeces would have been a better 22nd player for Geelong today. If Geelong had gone into the game with only 21 players and lef Tenace out, I think we would have won by more.
A tad harsh.

Will be sweating, though. Selwood was sensational in the 2s, will be pressing for a return. Varcoe is the other big one, had a shocker IMO - yet every form small forward we have is in the team. Drop him for Prismall and give Gaz/Chappy/Stokes more time up forward?

I wouldn't drop Varcoe at all.

He is one of the only forwards that creates pressure just by his pure persistence at the ball. He creates so many turnovers or near turnovers. I am happy to have him in the lineup, even if he only gets 5 touches, because you know that he has created so much more.

The guy to go would be Tenace for sure. Selwood back in. Also Rooke will be out at least a couple, head high contact on Riccuito will see him sit for a bit.

Gablett proved today that he is much more valuable in the midfield than playing him as a goal sneak. Varcoe has been terrific so far and I'd give him another week to prove himself. After all, this is Varcoe's first season and you would want him to learn from his mistakes.

I thought Stokes has been ordinary for the past few weeks. That shot on goal he managed to screw up from 35 out under limited pressure is fairly typical of his play. He's a good player but tends to have runs of form for three or four games after which he drops off.

Even Chapman was a little off-key today (but then he has a pretty good excuse).

In his post match conference Bomber said "next week is a new game with some new players"

He is either hinting at rotating players or making some unforced changes.

Tenace has to be ht e first to go.

HE gets alot of possessions in easy games, he has good pace and mobility, but under pressure his disposals are poor and he makes poor decisions

Selwood is a much better option and I cant understand why he was dropped and he is a player of the future.

I'd also stick with Varcoe, games like yesterday are a good learning curve for young players

U know i always look at Tenace but it doesnt seem like he uses his speed too often. Add that to the fact that his disposal is poor means he should perhaps be dropped. I reckon Prismall should be given a go.

ID love to see Hunt back in as well. Not sure who to drop.
