I would like to thank the Carlton Football Club for belting the living suitcase out of those St. Blunda tossers. Finally, a team has taken them on, used their pace and exposed their rubbish players like Raph Clarke, Baker, McQualter, Steven, Kosi the saviour, Dawson...just to name a few. Just like the Hawks of 2008, the St. Kilda defenders struggle one on one, but excel when they have 16-18 teammates flooding back helping them out.

I said at the start of the week that the Blues have the class in the midfield and the pace all over the field to beat the Saints (without Reiwoldt your defence would be more than able yo cover their forwards).

Fantastic win tonight, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

Special toasting to my man Jordan Russell who has finally arrived.

p.s AJ is hot :o

If only we'd brought this game to the MCG last week...

If we had played like this last week the result would have been very different, but the Pies are well known as mid season champions.

Cheers Charmer. Your man Russell is on fire. Still not too late for you to buy that membership.

He certainly is Sin. I won't be buying that membership though, and I've got 53 reasons why ;)

Cheers Charmer... I am looking forward to the rematches with a couple of sides later on this year... mainly your mob and the bummers :)

And if we can knock off the pussies again we are definitely in for an interesting finals series :)

The Saints for a variety of reasons are my most hated club, and your guys made my night (hard as it is to swallow) by humiliating them.

At the start of the year without Fev I thought you would struggle to make the 8. But play like you did tonight throughout the rest of the year, you will have no trouble making the top 6.

Sounds like you havent been a pies supporter for all that long then...

Carlton should be your most hated club!

They were for eons but during the last few years the Saints have taken the mantle.

Don't worry, I sure in a season or two once Carlton get back up there things will change around again. :D

I thought it was only 52 years of failure :p
haha pay that Sin. But seriously, I'll PM you my details and you can forward a membership to me ;)

I too am looking forward to your rematch the Essendon. I hate those pricks and hope you tear them a new one. overrated rabble they are.
Will be interesting to see if the next Pies V Blues game will be a blockbuster (in terms of how the teams are travelling, we all know that every game between the two is a blockbuster because of the rivalry) or not, plenty of water to go under the bridge though.

I wonder who asked you to put that in your post...
haha yes I wonder MC

AJ Pantsed Milen :)

Milne was one of Saints' most effective forwards tonight and burned off AJ a few times. He uncharacteristically missed three of those freaky goals, so a draw at best, but Milne was far from beaten.

Edit: Just looked at his stats... maybe you were right, but still saw AJ a couple of metres behind him a few times.

I think that if we bring this game to the rest of the season, we will be handing a fair few teams their arses in a brown paper bag. Tonight is how Carlton should be playing our football because we have always been a team based on quick movement and this tempo football is a load of crap.

Free-flowing football is always a pleasure to watch.

The Carlton vs Collingwood games are the AFL commissions bread and butter matches. They are always guaranteed a pretty much full house and if both teams are well placed when we play again, it could be a total sell out.

The biggest game of the century (so far), from the AFL's point of view, would be a Carlton vs Collingwood grand final.

i think a few teams will be having "quick movements" at the prospect of facing the blues mids & small forwards.

curlier than a catoggio pube

As much as i love Collingwood flogs (nah you're alright :thumbsu: for a c*ckhead) coming on here saying we did well, i hate the fact that this week we'll get flogged.

Happens after every good win, we get praised, then bring our D game.
