Agree with the OP, but I'll be chomping at the bit come February!

Will be a big ask to crack 50,000 members next year, given the way it ended. Will need a lot of good news stories over the summer. Hopefully a relative big name in, the hype around JD and a successful move to Tullamarine do it.

He is a gun and will be a gun for us..., a young bloke surely,imo, does not need the pressure/weight on his shoulders in his first few years of footy.
If he is anything like his Family- Danihers, they are quiet & go about there business/don't take shit type of blokes and media never bothered them much. But i am slightly concerned that too much may be expected of JD in his debut season of AFL...

I certainly hope the hype is no where near as high as the talent, but there is no point in having 1 (or 2 if you include Jobe) star performers if the rest of the team isnt doing their bit as well.
