Just wanna thank some of you Hawks supporters for posting some nice notes on the Essendon board.
Yes I'm sure it is satisfying beating a team like Essendon,
but thanks for not being arrogant like some other teams...
Every team including Essendon (I'm sure of it) have arrogant supporters but so far yet I haven't come across a rude hawk after todays game.

Was a great effort,
by both teams..the Dons did pretty good...1 point hurts though.

It was a good game. I don't think you could possible bag Essendon after their commitment today, and you could see their players were shattered after the win.

We have been on the wrong end of that for a while, so we definately knows what it feels like to lose close matches where you could have won.

Essendon were amazing, both teams made errors and it was hard to split them in terms of attack and effort. I'm thankful my side was on the 1 point win because it was soooooo hard for the players, and it shows that we've come forward as a club.
