I'll start with a comparison between Richmond and Carlton.Obviously Carlton had the better picks but who did genius recruiter SOS pick?

2017

Pick 3: Paddy Dow

Pick 10: Lochie O’Brien

Pick 30: Tom De Koning

Pick 70: Angus Schumacher

Pick 78: Jarrod Garlett
That's a bust in anyone's language.I wouldn't be surprised if Paddy Dow was delisted in two years and you may as well delist the other spuds now.
Richmond on the other hand did quite well.
17 Jack Higgins
20 Callum Coleman-Jones
25 Noah Balta
34 Patrick Naish
63 Ben Miller
Rookie 18 Liam Baker

Was looking back on the 2017 Draft to see where we went wrong with Dow. Hindsight would have preferred LDU (or Cerra who we eventually traded for anyway) but otherwise it doesn't really knock it out of the park, kind of a shit draft for midfielders. I wouldn't want any other of the first round midfielders more than Dow. Clark, Coffield, Bonar all duds.

Darcy Fogarty would actually be the best selection for the Blues looking back on this lot.

Tim 'Jeremy Cameron' Kelly and Gryan 'Messi' Miers.

Wellsy does it again.
