Being in Perth, I miss out on alot of Geelong action. How do Gary And Nathan get along? Are they great friends and hang out socially like some brothers do, or is just a typical friendly family relationship with a different group of friends? is there any sibling rivalry? etc etc?

Nathan sticks pretty close to his bro, puts a lot of faith in him to make sure he is well protected from any of the usual rubbish.

Yup, I said it in the Highlights thread. I recorded it onto my TV (has inbuilt hard drive) and watch it every now and then. Freakin hilarious.

There was one occasion after we beat Essendon in 1995, when Lou Richards interviewed Ablett senior after a game and he had both Gary junior and Nathan with him on camera. Vividly recall them both saying something along the lines of "he did well" when asked how Dad played.

He'd kicked 8, including 4 in the last quarter. Be pretty cool to find that clip now. Was on Channel 9 from memory.

The game would have been on Channel 7, but I think the interview was for the Sunday Footy Show on 9, hence Lou Richards.

Someone should dig that clip up.
