There will be a game starting Monday. As with all controversy related to AFL house, we won't actually own any mistakes and errors, it will all reference learnings and the outside factors that lead to our situation.

This will be a limited numbers game 20 only

Rules and roles to follow.

Basic rules:

Roles will be randomly assigned and communicated via PM (except VFL teams). The VFL must identify and kill all players not aligned with them before these players can kill enough VFL to satisfy their win condition. Only one faction can win the game.

Each day will consist of two phases:

Night phase (9:00pm – 9:00am AEST)

Players with night actions will nominate targets via PM during this phase. Nominations will not be accepted after 9:00am whether or not deadline has been announced.

Day phase (9:00am – 9:00pm AEST)
After the results of night actions have been announced all players will publicly vote to lynch one player during this phase. Votes will not be accepted after 9:00pm whether or not deadline has been announced.

May vary depending on my workload, commitments etc but please get your actions in early.

Voting:

DAY PHASE VOTING

All votes and change of votes must be bolded and the mod tagged, it makes it so much easier to search and see votes. If your vote is not bolded it will not be counted. You do not have to provide a reason for your vote for it to be valid.

Multi lynching, in the case of a tied vote.

DISCUSSING THE GAME


While the game is running players are not permitted to discuss the game anywhere but in this thread, the Dead PM or PM’s related to this game, if you have one. Posting screenshots and quoting PM’s are prohibited. Players caught breaching these rules will be modkilled without warning and will be abused relentlessly in the dead PM.

Deleting or editing your posts in the game at any time will result on in a modkill. You can post screen shots, logos, words etc but just don't be a dick and delete/ edit your posts outside of the few moments you get before the post will display as edited.

Other Modkillable offences:

  • Failing to nominate a night action during Night phases
  • Failing to vote in Day phase

DEAD PLAYERS

Players who are killed are permitted to post a farewell post provided that it does not impact the game (eg. “thanks for the game” or “good luck”). Dead players must leave the game immediately and are not permitted to post or like posts in the game thread or any PM they are a part of (except the Dead PM) until the end of the game.

Northern states - faction seer and kill
Sydney - Night immune due to VFL hand outs, seer as VFL team
Brisbane - will join a PM with Fitzroy if not killed. Can choose to win with Fitzroy or Northern states (not both), will inherit Night immunity on Sydney death.
GWS - Doc, protects against kills
Gold Coast - making up numbers

Traditional states - faction kill
West Coast - Night immune due to early expansion but can choose to join VFL D1 to screw traditional states, will lose Night immunity on N3 if they choose VFL. Retains Seer. Seers as VFL team.
Adelaide - join the PM D1 after WC choose. Will become Night immune if WC choose VFL or die.
Fremantle - join the PM D1 after WC choose. WC know their identity even if they choose VFL. Otherwise making up numbers.
Port Adelaide - join the PM D1 after WC choose. Have tarps. Get 2 protects from the tarps but can't use on Adelaide.

Tasmania - serial killer, night immune, seers as VFL team. Make final 4 and have a new stadium.
Fitzroy - VFL need to lynch/kill Fitzroy by end D2 or Fitzroy joining Brisbane. Win if lynched D1 or D2 (game continues) or can win with Brisbane if they choose Fitzroy.

St Kilda - Doc, protects against kills
Essendon- Vigilante
Carlton - with brown paper bags can buy the identity of 1 player each night
Geelong - Flog, PM together with 3 one off actions (seer, kill, protect)
Collingwood - Flog, PM together with 3 one off actions (seer, kill, protect)
North Melbourne - Town Drunk - action or target randomised (kill, protect, seer, roleblock). Can't pick an action again until all chosen.

Remaining clubs are VFL teams
Hawks
Melbourne
Richmond
Western Bulldogs

Handouts - handouts will protect from all night actions and lynch. Must be passed on before day ends. Only once within a faction. Will the handouts ever end? Only the Footy Commission know.

Means all players within a faction, for 1 time only
or 1 player only within a faction, before it has to go out of the faction.

( don't know why, but I read it as ambiguous)

Also this sounds incredibly difficult and confusing.
