The current tribunal appeal process is a joke. The $16K (or whatever it is) price for an unsuccessful appeal simply means that rich clubs appeal everything, and poor clubs dont.
Why not make the penalty for an unsuccessful appeal a further weeks suspended sentence on said player.
eg. Player A hits someone. Gets 2 weeks. Appeals, Fails, gets a 1 week suspended sentence on top of his two.
Later that year player A gets a one week suspension, then also has to serve his suspended sentence : 2 weeks.
Fair for all, and stop us wasting tribunal time with stupid appeals.
