The Bill last night.

What did you think of last nights episode? I didn't know they could cram so much into 50 minutes.

Yep,although you wouldn't have known if it hadn't been mentioned in the papers.

Only one scene was stuffed up slightly.
As D.I Nixon and Mickey Webb [now working at M.I.T ] were about to walk through a door in the station,they had 2 uniform cops [extras] looking like they were talking.There was a slight pause and then they seem to start talking.

It was a good episode,but Sunhill is like Mt Thomas.The only way you leave is in a body-bag.

Yeah it was bit slick for a 'live' show.

Although I have read that the actors on The Bill are renowned for getting through scenes in one take with minimal rehearsals due to the pressing need to produce five episodes every two weeks.

Yeah, how good was the last 30 seconds?!?!

The medical scene was crappy, the nurse woman who attened to Jim was irritating

I didn't know it was live until after I watched it..

Looked like he was knocked off the roof, but I may be wrong. The way he screamed seemed like more than being pushed over...he is ex-army afterall . And if he was just pushed over, he would have gotten back up before Gary Best jumped into the crim knocking them both off the roof.

Used to be a great show - a "don't miss" police procedural. Now it's just a pommie soapie version of Blue Heelers.

Over the last couple of years I think a transfer to Sun Hill has pretty much been a death sentence.
