The Bool In May

G,day fellow punters how are we long time no post but have been reading regullay.Just wondering if any of you are considering going to the May Carnival. If you are here is a good spot to stay. The Leura in camperdown offers the following deal.For $350.00 you get your accomodation breakfast including a cooked Breakfast on the Thursday your main meal each nite abus to and from the track and entry to the course.I go up on the Monday and go back on the Friday after a great three days on the punt.By the way the Hotel dosen't know i have posted this just though I would let my fellow punters in on a great deal!!

Paulie you are speaking my language, that first week in May is just magic probably my favourite time of year, the place just comes alive and everyone is talking horse racing, I'd recommend it to everyone on here my second hometown really turns it on, My Brothers horse is having its first start on the Wednesday in a three year old maiden so its exciting stuff.

Not sure I'd advise people to stay in old Camperdown though.

G'day Punters well it was not a bad carnival for me took a quaddie each day.Had succes on the first day went halves with a mate and we scored the quaddie.

Hey paulie, I had the best carnival ever cleaned up on the wednesday with a horse my brother part owns winning its maiden(Savouski), the best feeling. Flopped at the valley yesterday, it didn't handle the track and came up really shin sore.

Thats racing, full of highs and lows.

Sorry Brian, weren't overly confident as the trainer said it wouldn't get through the wet, to be fair it was probably the better side of slow when it jumped.
