The Melbourne v Collingwood game has barely finished but I can tell I'm not the only one who has taken a beating this weekend.

This is strictly a venting and commiserations thread. No positive posts allowed!

Hands up anyone else who got sucked in to captaining Brayshaw? A wonderful 47 pts x 2 for us losers... not to mention the injury carnage pre-lockout that meant I only just scraped together 18 players, including a whole bunch of rookies who scored 50s...

Anyone else who has a tale of woe to share, please come share in our commiserations

Captaining Brayshaw not only cost me a hefty rise in the rankings (pretty much kept the same ranking as it was) it also cost me a very important league win. All he needed to do was score 66. Seriously.

Can't believe I was looking forward to a fun afternoon of fantasy friendly footy

Yeah I though it was bad enough getting brayshaw for a 47 and a bye. But that hurts.

Captain beams 50, m crouch 67, dusty out, laird out, cogniglio out. That was horrible. Thanks to the St Kilda backmen for saving there scores and giving me 1623 all out because that could have been bloody awful. Terrible captain decision by me, even had that thought when I gave it to him. Oh well. The only way is up. Except for this week. When its down.

I only got 17 on the field because of all the BS premos "taking a break". What a pile of garbage. You guys are paid 500k/yr to endure the pain you absolute ****ing spuds. Gaff played half of last year with BROKEN RIBS and ****ing Laird won't play a game of AFL with a fractured bone in his hand. What a ****ING joke. Also Dusty I don't care about your family, AFL comes first mate. **** off back to NZ if you miss your sheep. (PS. This is sarcasm. Please don't hate me for venting!)

Combining those with missing Mitchell, Macrae, Gaff, Simpson and Yeo plus a few rookies I got absolutely reamed. Could only field thirteen players. THIRTEEN! Also had some huge spuds in Walters and Brayshaw.

Although I somehow moved up the rankings, so lots of people must have done worse.
