The Bye Rounds

Did you get 18 last week?

You will be climbing the rankings in the last wk and this wk for sure

I hope you are right!:thumbsu:
I had 19 last week and hopefully that was my tough round,
avoiding all those round 13 uber premo's sitting on the pine was/is part of my strategy.
Along with loading up on suns players in r10, r11...

A lot of teams could have 3million+ on the pine next week.

You have traded extra hard with a plan of byes in mind. Ill be looking forward to the final outcome for future reference.

the most critical thing for me is the starting team and nailing those super value picks, i missed the mark not having Murphy, Oliver & Docherty in my starting squad.

holy smokes
4 in the guts, a back and a ruck.
Was worse coming into the bye rounds so I'm fairly happy with where it sits now.
Have enough coverage for a full 18 and my team will be a lot stronger in the long run.
Short term pain for long term gain I hope.

Murphy and Oliver are the critical 2 i reckon almost all good fantasy coaches considered strongly - i know i did and didnt pick either.

Picking those gun midprice midfielders is key. Like Liam Shiel, Macrae, Neale from recent years and sure there are other examples aswell

Docherty is countered by Adams, Laird and Lloyd. Hard to have all 4 but if you did you killed it.

but even having 2 identical sides and one picking Heath Shaw vs Adams is 354 points (both cost basically the same)

354 points is huge

Laird
T.Adams
Titchell
Fyfe
Neale
M.Crouch
Grundy

my big names on the pine before trades for round 13

that sure is some concentrated scoring power you have there!
Isn't it just.
It's what's helped me climb from outside 25k to 12k in the last 4 weeks.
Knuckled down on getting them right so hopefully I don't cop too big a hit next week in the rankings.

Adams, laird, titch, merrett, fyfe greenwood, cousins, grundy, dawson simpson, beech

Nearly 4.5 mill before trades

Matt Crouch confirmed his coffin for me and Nat fyfe will likely be going unless he pumps out a 115+ then it will be reconsidered but still may go

newnes/JPK and Yeo first on my radar for straight swaps

Roughy > Yeo for me this upcoming week.

R13 the last bye is the week is round I've been waiting for!
I've got 9 R13 bye players in my team before trades plus 2 non-playing rookie rucks
3,2,(2),4.
Post trades I should be able to get to 22 starters for the week.

With Buzza or Black almost guaranteed not to play Thursday night my hand is forced quite bad.
Will have 18 scorers only and have to sacrifice Treloar for a week to do it (Lloyd dpp to get Doch in)
Looking into next week I will bring Treloar back aswell as upgrade Marchy to Laird.
Byes suck, sigh.
