If anyone is going to game on Saturday afternoon, please take precautions against the sun and heat. Canberra is not like other Capital Cities. For a start we aren't on the coast, so we don't get the coastal breezes to assist in cooling the players and keeping the humidity to comfortable levels. Canberra's humidty during summer is generally around the teens, which can - literally - suck the life out of you. Also because we are 800 metres above sea-level, the sun is harsher than on the coast.

Please bring plenty of sunscreen, a decent hat and any other protection from the sun. Also bring plenty of water. Beer is not going to help, in fact it could add to the problem of dehydration and/or sunstroke (don't laugh, I've seen it happen). Hopefully the ground staff will allows us to bring in some water.

I hate to see anyone seriously ill or Hospitalized, even a Melbourne Supporter. See we Shinboners care.:D

Good Luck and go the Roos

We've not exactly got a sparkling pre-season record. I seem to recall a pair of 100+ point losses a few years back.

Hey St.Kilda only beat us by 90 odd! :D

We kicked more goals in round 1 (20) vs Hawthorn than we managed in 3 Wiz cup games.

We were semi-finalists in 2000, losing narrowly to Essendon, no shame there.

Well I'm playing 18 holes in ****ing Cranbourne tomorrow morning, and will miss half the match.

I'm relying on you guys to tell me how Brock and Flash go!
