I figure that our chances of making the Finals are about 3 in 10 on that basis he's not looking flash.

if cc misses the 8 it will be an easy decision for the board

but 7-10 is doable and it will be interesting to see what they do if we scrape in
 
I think the spin that could be put on this is that Hart is actually trying to engineer a complete take-over of the club. By depriving Connolly of Farmer and doing all this unseen stuff that we can't see because its hidden behind the scenes he's undermining Connolly, He can now come out on the Footy show, and take all the glory by declaring that Connolly is unsafe if he doesn't make the finals. Thereby putting public pressure on Connolly to perform making his job harder. Once Connolly is gone Hart can out in his own man, rumoured to be a mobile phone salesman from Vic Park*.

Once he controls the club, Hart can get all this stuff he can't get while he's President.

If we win a final he would probably stay. Given we are in so called premiership mode they could probably get away with 1 year contract.

I think that unless we can get more depth/class/speed into the midfield it won't matter who is coach. When the opposition is going the other way and being chased by Hasleby/Bell/the two Carrs/Cook/Schammer we'll always be under the pump.

I dont think Chris needs any help from Rick Hart. He doing a good job keeping us in mediocrity all by himself. One good season since he took over, he shouldnt be here next year whether we make the finals or not.

Can you please let everyone know what exactly Rick Hart has done for you to attack everything he does. The club is better off-field since he has been in the job. Can you and GentlemanJeff cut out your conspiracy theories towards Rick, it is unwarranted.

Noone is above critism and questioning at the FFC. the FFC is not a dictatorship, and when members feel he made an error, he should be held accountable for that.

The fact that White Goods Man over reacted with Farmers punishment which will cost us a place in the finals and mean the end of CC's coaching career is enough for him to step aside.

Exactly. Perhaps Rick wouldn't be so cocky if people told him he'd be out on his arse if we don't make the finals. CC shouldn't have to take all the blame when an egomaniac torpedoed half the season with a rash, hypocritical, PC crowd pandering, media grandstanding, "i'm bigger than the club" decision against Saint Jeffrey.

I have this uneasy feeling. I don't know whether to feel very unclean because Pistol has lumped me in with GJ, or a little smirk that he's giving me a dose of my own medicine by "out-sarcasming" me.

It does look like he's serious doesn't it?
