Seems the flavour of the month is to now blame March for TWs inturn the sides piss poor performance in 2009, an argument that neglects the real issues that leave our team completely unbalanced barely able to muster a 10g scorecard. To the agitators, I ask...How is choco williams performing under exactly the same circumstances...Is the PA club a rabble for not reappointing him at this point...I think not...the prudent call is to see how the game unfolds before playing all the cards..whether TW had 12mths ahead or not does not change the structure of the side we face up with ea week...those problems emerged at the draft table and then iced by a compltely inadequate player development department...let's stick to the real story folks

At the end of the day business is business, and if you aint getting bang for your bucks then you make the nessecary changes to get it. If the coaching panel, lead by TW truely believe that they have us on the right path and want to prove it to us, then i put it to them to put their money where their mouths are and take pay cuts, and if they produce the goods, the board will reward them, with enhanced contracts that reflect their "success".
Kind of logical if you think about it. It takes the "spin" out of play.
But knowing how they are feasting on the tiger carcass, elongating their "careers", with TW's positive spins, i would be tipping they will more likely seek employment elsewhere. Of course, that would be a major mistake since as we have come to understand, after the tigers the next stop is selling used cars or a travelling salesman.

We are way to fragile a footy club culturally to tolerate a president that appoints and listens to nut jobs like Tony Free running around and destabilising an already weak and under pressure coaching group and an even mentally weaker playing list led by massively overrated and fragile senior players.

I also stand up for what I perceive is an injustice and while Wallace may or may not be a great coach, he hasn't had the level playing field other coaches get
And I am angry I will never know whether had he been given an open cheque book and a great recruiting department behind him like other clubs could he have done better.
What MT said the other day, that he never received the support a la like Frank Costa gave Bomber Thompson against all opposition from everywhere. He stuck by him.
Hopefully, whoever comes in they will be very successful. But although that's all I want, I will have an empty feeling not knowing whether the things that were set in place under Wallace were the reason we have success or because someone came in and took the easy route of a ready-made up and coming team.
And I feel sorry for Wallace who will sit at home and watch our games thinking if I had support, if I had money, if I had a great recruiting team and administration behind me what might have been.
Yes, I'm extremely angry, but unlike some I will always support my club.

I think I'm a rational human being (somewhat on the cynical side) but after following this club for nearly 40 years I'm beginning to think we are seriously cursed. Pretty much every move we've made over that time has come back to bite us on the arse.

It seems even our good decisions or better recruiting always come with a little caveat - we never just get an upside.

You could say let's start from the ground up and replace coaches, the board and the list but we've gone through similar processes and still come out covered in shite. Many point to the professionalism McGuire brought to Collingwood yet, with all their power, even he hasn't brought them a flag in his era.

the coach is not absolved from recruiting blunders...he profiles the requirements to build a winning team...if he continues to demand 5"9 70kg midfielders then thats what FJ will put on the table...If he asks for hulking plugger style KPP then thats what FJ will table...I'l let you be the judge on where the holes are in our lineup

What I want now is that if it's a fait accompli that he is going, just do it. Don't **** around with people like this.

You either get behind him or you say bye-bye. You don't trash this club by leaving someone you think is not fit to coach, and you don't **** around with supporters who've put their hard earned in and who expect to make the finals.
