I think you should get Cox if you dont have him, or Mac if you do have him.

Kruezer probably wont be a keeper. It could cost you many points and also another trade.

Cox and Mac are the rucks to get IMO, wish i started with them from the start wouldve put me in a good spot.

Kreuzer is 100k cheaper than HMac, which is most of a rookie downgrade. So to say that Mac will save you one trade is oversimplifying things.

I might for example go Hille -> Kreuzer and use the money to, in two weeks time, upgrade Ziebell to Richo. Money well spent, one trade saved.

The real consideration is whether Kreuzer is good enough to be in your finalised team - it may be that he is, because you want to establish cash flow for upgrades sooner rather than later. The same question applies for people who are trading out Dalziell and wondering whether to go for a Hayes type player or upgrade straight up to the premium Ablett.

Kruezer is probably not strictly a keeper, but for rucks besides Cox the keepers seem to change every year and I dont trust any of them, I am takeing my money from Hille to Kruezer who is good value (scores have been good minus Sydney and the game he was injured) and putting it towards Better premiums elsewhere.

As Kid A said 100K savings is effectively a saved trade, and cash could be important this year with so many cows maturing this early.

I agree.

Last year the second ruck wasn't all that important and in fact Cox was like 20 points better than the next best in Hille (ironic, Hille was 2nd best!!).

However this year I'm not so sure. Hmac and Fraser's average's are sky high and whilst I know they can't keep it up, a 90 point average is very realistic for Fraser in particular.

If Kruezer can average 80 from here on in, the downgrade to Kruezer is an easy one. But I'm still unsure if he can... all the talent in the world, but no 19 year old ruckman has ever been close to a DT contributer.... so many queries....what to do?

Reasoning
Pros

Playing in a saints team that is dominating, getting plenty of opportunities into the forward 50.
King out for a while, meaning some ruck time?

Cons
Still some price dropping to do with the 8
Seems as though his scores are largely affected by goal output
