who should we go after with our 1st pick?
shultz or a smith for backup talls who play back or do we use it for a midfielder[bell,mcviegh or walsh]?

do we stay with a midfielder and use a very late pick to pick up someone like a dean talbot or a very raw tall youngster and hope he develops.

i say pick up the best tall that plays back with pick#14 and use the pre-season to pick up either hanby or bolton[bris].

or do we just see which is the best avail at 14 either way?

Simply the best player availible , especially when you have one pick in the top 40 or so...
Unless that player is a tall defender , don't waste a top 15 pick on a tall defender..

I would love it to be Daniel Bell, he has a bit of Riccutio in him, is hard and tough and very athletic, but I think he will be gone earlier. My sources say Brisbane will nab him with pick 5.
