Dream team certainly adds some emotion to watching every game of football. It's probably as close as we will get to feeling the emotions of the AFL coaches as they watch their teams play out on the field. I have found myself having a conflict of interest as my dream team players play against my own beloved Magpies.

I would like others to share their greatest (or lowest) moments in Dream Team. I am sure there are some heartbreaking stories out there, as well as some memorable moments...

lowest moment - losing last year's GF by 40 points with carazzo and bartel sitting on the bench and only gibbs to substitute (he did score 100+ though)

best moment - scoring 4100 points combined in rds 2 & 3 this year and getting into the top 40 overall :p pity i'm slowwwwly sliding back down.

Best: Daniel Cross's 3 goal last quarter as captain a few weeks back
Worst: Anytime a gun gets injured (especially early on as their price plummets, and ultra especially when they're captain)

Best - Today watching Salopek score continuously sky rocket to get passed 140 and grant me my first 2000 of the year with 5 players under 50:D:D.

Worst- Last year making a bet with my friend (we were vsing each other in the league) and made Cross captain, when he did his knee against Brisbane lions. I obviously lost the game and the bet . That game also saw Griffin do his knee as well....horrible game.

I also hate watching my dreamteam players get injured, such a bad feeling.

This year:

Best: My Ranking this round- 17
Worst: Josh Hill when he got 100 and something after I decided not to get rid of him also changing from Cox a minute before lockout when he got 140 and Cornes when he got 150 odd

Best: Any time when a captain scores 130+.

Worst: Spending ages getting my team right last year, only to have my captain get knocked out in the first quarter of the first game of the year.

Best: Winning my Grand final last year by 2 points, pocketing a cool 50 bucks.

Worst: Watching Melbourne v St Kilda a few years back, and Captain Cameron Bruce crashing into the turf and breaking his collarbone on 4 points. Horrid looking fall and i was so depressed, both about his health and my Dream Team. Emotional times.

worst: losing my grand final 2 years ago by 8 points to a kiwi.

best: a few years back watching my captain jason akermanis score 180 odd.

Best: Winning a carton of beer for my flat mate in last years final series, after making Kane Cornes captain in the GF and winning by a mere 11 points when our totals were something like 20,000+

Worst: scoring 2334 in 2006 thinking i would win the $1000 weekly prize, only to find out someone who had almost the exact same team as me had Jono Brown captain which got him 340 odd points.

worst: losing 2 league grand finals; both after having won every game for the rest of that season. talk about choke!

That's happened to me for the last three years.

All three years I've finished top losing no more than one or two games, all three years I've failed to make the grand final.

The standard of the league I'm in with my mates doesn't help either. A 1,700 will normally get you a win, so you can get away with naming half a team of shitcarters in round one, before making your first trades in round ten, then ending up with a team full of guns by the time finals come around.

There's nothing more frustrating in DT than losing a prelim to a team with a five figure ranking.

This is my first year, and I found it weird watching the Showdown a few weeks ago...wanting the Crows to smash Port, but please don't hurt Chad!...weird.
