Chelsea playing only 16 games is ridiculous, how the hell did that happen?
Just saw that myself - looks very odd. They've played 5 less than anyone else...can't see that ever happening (unless they've got a heap of players from one country that are playing a heap of internationals hence delaying a heap of domestic matches - & no other team might have players from this country...still a long shot really).

Got the game recently, was having a look at the network feature. How abouts does that work.

Another question as well. In the editor, how do you change the teams colours and logo.

Cheers

Bah up to 2015/2016 with Kettering, who i've worked up from Conf south to League One. Everyone is unhappy, players want to leave and i'am getting relegated almost for sure. What does one do when they have spent so much of there year wasting it on a team of ungrateful, money hungrey, talentless, Red dots that can't score in a brothel?

Learn how to fly a kite...?

Seriously though, I'm still doing pretty well (in my 4th season and looking to win back to back EPL's with Arsenal) but most of my team have very low morale. It doesn't seem to be effecting their performance though so it doesn't bother me so much. I'm playing the pretty old CM4 though so it's probably a fair bit different to the newer versions.

There's two days to go until the FA Trophy final and I have no keepers, after the knob I loaned from Sunderland didn't want to extend his loan for one more bloody game.

I have one keeper who may be able to play but he's expected to be out for between 'a day and two weeks'. Any half decent physio would be able to tell the difference between 1 and 14:thumbsdown:

Why are you so short? I've got 3 keepers in my first squad and another 3 in my reserves. Can't you use your reserves (or even u/19's keeper)?

I had 3 who were injured in my first team/reserve squad (hence the loaning) and one fit keeper in the u/18 squad who had pretty chocking stats.

I ended up playing him and we won on penalties after he saved 3

Hahah that's what you get with dud physios at low clubs, mine is the same. Sometimes i get "Player X will be out for anywhere between 1 and 4 weeks" that is a fair old difference. Having TWO good physios has always been a dream of mine...

Started an Atletico Madrid game. First season I finished 3rd and won the Spanish Cup. Was 4th coming into the last game which happened to be against Villareal who were 3rd. Wnt out hard from the start of the game and Sergio Aguero scored a brace. Beat Barca 2-1 in the Spanish Cup Final.
Ins: Zuniga, Milan, Cardenez, Elias, Mokena, Pocogolia (sp?), Marcelo and a few young gun defenders
Free transfers: Solado from real, Hitzlsperger, Diego Tristan, Freddy Eastwood, Daponi (absolute gun)
Outs: Pablo - 14.5mil to Chelsea, Luccin, Mista

Great result mate! Sounds like he ended up the hero.

I've found (in my game anyway) that my keepers don't get injured as much as my other players (my strikers are always getting injured).

Yea, and strikers are always the first players that need to be subbed aswell.
My other 'favourite' one is the gashed leg my players get from time to time. Damn, Kaka was getting his leg gashed all the time. In fact, in 3 years I reckon he got a few gashed legs (3 weeks out each time) and probably at least four 2 month+ injuries. I sent him to rehab for 3 months and since then he's been right. It was starting to p**s me off thou..

recently got the game of a mate from school, and now very addicted to the game, one question though.
what happens with players on work permits, because some of my players have been on them for a year now, do they automatically disappear or do i have to handle the situation? cheers

I'm playing an older version but I think it's the same. Their work permit is dependant upon how many internationals they play (I think they have to play something like 75% of them). It's not really something you can influence I don't think (unless of course you're also the national coach). I've had players where I have tried to renew their contract but it says their work permit has been refused (because of not enough internationals). I then just wait for their contract to finish, then try to re-sign them and it goes through the process of applying for a work permit (hopefully it gets approved then).

Cheers.

I think (but don't quote me) that if a player is deemed as a star/future star then they can bypass the 75% rule.. i think its 75% over 2 years or something. As Waverley said, there's not much you can do about it really.
The other thing I do to try and avoid problems with re-newing the work permit is give them a 4 or 5 year contract - you don't have to worry about it for ages then.

I'm pretty sure once they've been there for 3 years they no longer need a wp so if you get them on a 3+ year contract you should be fine.

I was pretty unlucky in the Confederations Cup with Australia. Firstly, Covic decides to get a cold which rules him out of the group stages, and Elrich retires from football after our second game, didn't even hang around for the rest of the tournament!!

I managed to fluke a 1-1 draw with Italy, then England flogged me 6-0, mainly in two quick bursts. To qualify for the semis, Italy had to either draw or lose and i had to beat the USA. I was 1-0 down at halftime when Adu scored a header, then Kennedy scored his 2nd for the tournament followed by an Aloisi brace. Unfortunately bloody England lost 1-0 to Italy.

Hey guys. I need some help.

I dowloaded fm07 with the crack and was playign and was working fine. Then i downloaded the 7.02 patch and now when i got to play the game it says i need the cd-rom. Is this a problem with the crack? If so can you help me fix it?

I'm pretty sure SI have done something that prevents the patch being used with a cracked version.

That MAY be the problem, but there could be someone on here that's gotten around it.
