Sick of the backline getting all the attention, the forward line decides to get in on a bit of the action.

Chapman - OUT (I can see this dragging on too)
Gamble - OUT (not even to be replaced by Chappy, will we see him again?)
Valenti - OUT (ouch, before he's even made a cent, may not be sighted again)

Making my Rioli to Chappy "upgrade" last week look very foolish and my forward like very tenuous...

You are not on your own there. (although I have Valenti and Gamble as emergencies only, and still have Rioli, so i'm better off than most!)

Just got to laugh it off, what else can you do? I went to the game last week so had to make my trades before 6, did the rioli to chappy and now i have no emergency with gamble being omitted, the ultimate kick in the teeth.

I too traded Rioli to Chapman (left it as long as I could but couldn't be online leading up to the deadline). Now leaves me with Chapman, Gamble and C.Stokes not playing, not to mention relying on Tippett to improve on his awsome effort of last week!

Only rubs it in further that the only semi-decent downgrade target (Valenti) has also been dropped!

Ah the joys of fantasy footy!!

Already have him and he would be just over budget by $400 (now that would really rub it in if I didn't have him!).

Best option I can see is Dale Thomas but I'm far from convinced about him but I guess he might JUST be ok as a 7th forward?

NO!

Am a saints man, he will be a gun in 3-4 years, but with King/Gardiner ruling the ruck (he is a ruckman more than a combo ruck/forward) he isn't going to get many matches nor matchtime.

may get 3-4 matches this year but would be suprised if he got more, unless Gardiner and/or King get long-term injuries (remember that Rix is 3rd ruck)

i traded last Fri afternoon Gamble-> Chapman. Will have to keep him on bench. Was thinking Rioli->Valenti, but I need Rioli to play anyway now that Chapman is out. Will have to keep Rioli 'til a decent cheap player option comes along.
