2017 is the year of the Switch for me. New 3d Mario, rumored enhanced ports of Splatoon and Mario Kart and of course Zelda will all take up a large chunk of my gaming next year.

Will pick up Cuphead, Sea of Thieves and Red Dead 2 on the Xbox and then wait for Scorpio.

Nothing for PS4, sold it already.

I just happened to be in JB HiFi the day after the Switch was announced buying some earphones, so I checked their website and they had it listed with a placeholder price of $999 (lol).

So I told them I wanted to put a deposit down. They had no idea what I was talking about and couldn't find it on their system. I had to bring up the webpage on my phone to convince them it existed lol.

Anyway, I just put $50 down on it, but they told me I was the first preorder.

The whole thing was funny. I have to admit, I'm a bit worried that the clueless chick behind the counter didn't input my order properly, she had no idea what was going on. I should check on that. First console I've preordered since the Wii. Can't wait.

I think nearly all of these games will hit in 2017.
One i'm really interested is Rime for PS4, looks beautiful.
However it seems it's been stuck in development for sometime, that footage is from 2014 lol.
Elex & Absolver look quite rough tbh, so maybe they will be pushed back.
I was going to include Shenmue 3, but i think that has no chance of making 2017 release.

Yeah i'm excited for Prey, i just finished Dishonored 2.
Arkane Studios are a real talent.
