The Demons played against the Hawks in Round 1. The Hawks selflishly won the game in the final minute when new recruit and beloved turncoat okeydoke7 kicked a goal against their favourite team. It was a huge injustice and I don't think I'll ever recover.

But that's not the point.

The Hawks were on their absolute knees - as opposed to their regular knees - just a few seasons ago, but through a rebranded rebrand, some hard work, and poaching 19 players from the Mount Buller Demons, they have well and truly recovered. Look at this from Round 1:

Tarkyn_24, The Majestic, Callums_Guns, sausageroll, and Loonerty were all up and about, but the Hawks also had great depth. It was a good thread.

I guess this is just a nod to those at the East Side for rebuilding effectively. I think it gives hope to some other clubs, too!
