I am pretty sure we are safe from Des grabbing such a gig.There is a story about Apple, unlike a lot of tech companies, not having a "Chief Innovation Officer". When asked about this, someone from Apple (maybe Steve Jobs or Tim Cook) said that being innovative is not the singular role of one person, bestowed upon them with a title, but something that must permeate the culture of company from the CEO down, and that having someone titled "Chief Innovation Officer" is just a sham.
I think the same applies to politicians being titled "Honourable". Or the AFL having an integrity officer.
