Is it just me, or does what I heard on SEN this morning want to make anyone else throw up too?

Terry Wallce "The List Manager" - give me a break. More like the Jizz Manager. He could even manage his shopping list at Coles.

If he was such a list manager expert, why did Hardwick have to slash 14 players in his first season?


And this morning Wallace was listing the worst trades in history. I didn't hear them all, but if McMahon for pick 19 wasn't at number 1 I'll go hee. Something tells me it wouldn't have been.

Seriously what is SEN doing embarrassing themselves by thinking that Terry Wallace has an CRED as a list manager.

He's finished fleecing Richmond, now he's gonna take SEN to the cleaners.

Absolutely sickens me that this man is still making money in the football industry...

In fact he should pay us back that massive 5 year contract... I love it when you hear him talk about how we had no recruiters or support staff and if he had we'd have been more successful.

Well maybe if he didn't gleefully accept that massive pay check we could've afforded the odd recruiter or 2. Absolute charlatan of a bloke.

I know he's a **** but when u actually listen to him talk about clubs lists especially now that he has no alliegence to any club, he actually has a pretty good grip on it!

I know he screwed up our list and set it back 10 years but no need to live in the past IMO!

The Wallace era ended badly and I was as happy as anyone to see him go, but to say he set the list back 5 or 10 years is unfair. Half of our 22 last night debuted under Wallace (2 under Frawley, 6 under Hardwick and 3 with other clubs).

\That is pretty steep Ranger , if Wallace was worth his salt it would of been 16 to 18 from his era. Do I need to remind you of Rodan , JON , Hughes , Pattison , Myer , Polo , Casserly , the list goes on. I'm with the OP , Wallace couldn't manage his shopping list.

The guy was a spud of the highest order. Did as much damage as Frawley.

Correct but I'm pretty sure Wallace delisted him mate. We all new he had ability from the one NAB game he played but then went straight back to Coburg to never be seen again just like the rest. The thread is about managing a list which obviously involves recruitment as well.

i understand the angst at wallace he did not set us back 5 yrs but more like 10 by the time we actually turn it around. but he wasnt the list manager at richmond. so why do we continually rage at one man. the other people who had a large say or the biggest say in list management was one greg miller with craig cameron from the end of 07.
yes wallace probably had decent input but he was not the lone ranger.

Surely he played more than a nab game! But I'm not sure! Wouldn't want a player that needs drugs to be a decent player anyways! No loss! Rodan is the biggest loss!

Also seeing as dimmer plans us to be in finals next year maybe Wallace only set us back 2-3 years! If hardwick fails 2012 finals people will say another 5 year set back!

two things casserly was riddled or if you like chronically injured at richmond. it was so bad we just could not justify keeping him on the list. it was the right decision to delist him but we need to remember he was delisted not for the lack of skill jus him being too fragile.

the head of recruitment was miller with much help from f jackson from 05 onwards. and again yes wallace as coach must have had decent input into recruiting but the buck does not stop with him in this area. the buck must stop with miller and jackson and after 07 or was it 08 cameron.

Yeah, how dare he accept a massive pay-check. He should have signed on for free and stacked shelves at night to feed his family. You can say what you like about his time at Tigerland but you can hardly slag a bloke off for taking what's offered financially. Maybe I'm a charlatan too but if my employer offered me a truckload, I'd take it.

People just find it convenient to have a crack solely at Wallace...open your eyes people to all of the sh1t that has gone on and who has been responsible. Happy to say that things look like they are on the improve.
