Not sure why people are saying its a rip off of Malcolm. Actually very few similarities at all

This is one of those shows that I don't actively dislike, but I do kind of get to the end and wonder why I bothered watching it. It's not that bad - the characters are likeable, the situations are identifiable, the acting is good. But it's also not that funny and not that interesting.

Kind of a bit like its name - middle of the road, unremarkable, bland. If it's on TV and I want to watch TV and there's nothing else on, it's an easy pick. But I wouldn't go to the effort of downloading it or trying to catch the new episodes.

News of Heaton’s new CBS series comes as her just-wrapped ABC sitcom “The Middle” is moving forward with a spinoff starring Eden Sher. Last week, ABC gave a title to the series, “Sue Sue in the City,” which follows Sher’s Sue Heck as she leaves the small town of Orson to navigate the ups and downs of a career and young adulthood in the big city of Chicago.

Brock Ciarelli, who appeared in 56 episodes on the ABC sitcom as Brad Bottig, the best friend of Eden Sher’s Sue Heck, will be joining the spinoff — now titled “Sue Sue in the City” — as part of the main cast.

As long as Brick is on a few times I'll be happy. I don't think it will make it. It was the combination of the characters that made The Middle not just one.
