Idea: post your weekly score, overall ranking (if you want), thoughts on supercoach scores from the weekend, and what you will be thinking about going into next week

This week i scored 2291. . I managed to improve my ranking 23 places to 216 overall and maintained an avg over 2300. Pretty happy with the way things are going so far, but it is very apparent that it will only take 1 bad week to slide a lot.

It was good to have the leagues running this week. I won 2 games and lost 1. The 1 loss was to my main rival in a money league which is annoying.

Ablett is a freak. He was worth every cent. I was also really happy with C.Cornes, Selwood, Judd, Goddard, Cox and Higgins. Krakauer was a SUPERSTAR this week. what a pickup
My rookies let me down a bit this week. Its gonna be hard to get good money for rookies that are only scoring 50 per week (Brown/Walker etc)

I was hoping Harvey and Riewoldt were going to score low again so i could pick them up, but instead they both got massive scores

Skipworths injury has really caused me some headaches. I was hoping not to trade for another 3/4 weeks but looks like i may have to burn 2 this week. I have Ellis, Broughton, Anthony, Hentschell and Skipworth all sitting on my bench injured. i dont think i can afford to hold that many when looking for overall points.

Not a great week for the team but could've been worse. Scored 2177 which saw me drop 500 places overall to 3435.

My main worry is my lack of playing bench players. 3 of the 8 played with one of them Jacobs and the other Walker.. I think they scored about 30 each I'm gonna have some real bad problems upgrading later on if this continues. Rest of my bench is - Cheney, Broughton, Anthony, Robinson, Jacobs, Richmond ruck but not Graham, Walker, Hogan.

Skippy injury scare also means i could play short in the mid if Robinson doesn't get named.

Trades very possible this week but will be upgrading to a keeper if this is the case so the worth is there i suppose.

You got me Donkey by the smallest of margins - Managed to get 2290 this week - Thanks Capt Gazza. Was surprised to see that l jumped 6 places overall to 152. Did not help me in BF Div 4 as l lost my first round to Reg Grundies.

My backline let me down big time this week - 4 players with scores in the 50's.

Premium forwards Stevie J, Chappy & Browny also not good enough with scores in the 80's. Was hoping to see Roo score low this week but this was not to be.

Concerned that the cows are maturing slowly (excluding Rich who is now a keeper in my view) this year. Robinson 13, Walker 30, Brown 43, Hill 50 all not good enough. Also have Cheney & Broughton. Makes it a lot harder when upgrading to Premiums.

Skippy getting injured not helping. Was hoping to upgrade him to Roo but the cows are not doing the right thing quick enough. Tucky (Hawks) better get off his arse this week. Will be trading this week. Just waiting for tooserious to do the numbers - C'mon Walesy, l thought you were serious about this caper!!!!!!!!!!

That is very unlucky to have cloke, roughy and bradshaw all do so poorly in the same week. Ride it out with them tho.
Mackie is underperforming, but might start scoring higher once Harley comes back in the next few weeks.
If you have kept Raines this long i imagine you will keep him until he comes back. If you were getting rid of him you should have already done so.
If you cant adequately cover Skipworth and you dont have much cash, Krakouer is the best option, but you would have to get him this week.

Not too bad this week scored 2291 this week which is ok concidering it included 1 dounut (Cheney). I can't wait until I can actually get a full team on the field.(Have been short 3 of the first 4 weeks)
Slowly climbing the rankings ladder rd.1 = 9,932 rd.2 = 17,997 rd.3 = 9,188 & rd.4 = 5,111st.

With leagues games starting this week managed a clean sweep winning all 3 leagues. 2291 vs 2127 , 2291 vs 1790 & 2291 vs 2220. Always good to start off with a win

Fairly happy with my premiums & mid-ranged players this week. Capt. Ablett was outstanding as usual. Also special mention must go to Lockyer , C. Cornes , Dal Santo , Richo, Higgins & Krakouer. Also my newest recuit S. Gilbert(112)

Only downfall is I have had to use 4 trades so far to get to this position and still not settled yet as I have the following inj/non scoring players -

(Forwards) Skippy

Could only muster a poultry 1849. Am a long way back in rankings yet aim to win my leagues.

Toyed with trading in Riewoldt right up until the lockout but left it and paid the price. Also, not having Ablett was always going to end badly. Add that to Fev's 26, Dangerfield's 38, the choice of J.Brown (81) as captain and it makes for a bad score.

Going into next week I will use two trades, both upgrades as I've left plenty in the bank. Riewoldt and another (Harvey... Hodge... Goddard) will come into the side to bolster it and move guys like Suban and Mitch Morton t(or the injured Skipworth) to the bench.

more than i expected with fev scoring so low and p burgoyne being rubbed out, had quite a few rookies playing in the backs. boomer repaid my faith in him with a big score and ziebell got amongst it nicely for the first time this year

moved up to 26th overall after a drop last week to 85th.

like most got a problem with skippy, im only going to upgrade him to a premium and i dont think its possible for me to get that cash just yet so it looks like ill be hoping walker can slot a nice bag against the dees.

i cant believe i thought i could get away without gaz in my team this year, luckily i rejigged it close to the season and got the man in

2,347. Moved up to 4,919 thanks to one round where everything went wrong (injuries, shit matches) and I got a 1,919. I'm happy with 2,347 because I chose Richo over Ablett as captain (a mistake I will never make) would have gotten something like 2,432 if I left Ablett as captain.

Although I don't think I will win my league because we have a guy in it who is 2nd overall. Copped so many injuries over the whole year though already:
Raines, Anthony, Ottens, Skipworth, Adcock and Knights off the top of my head.

My opinion, Skipworth out is good, as I doubt he will easily re-gain his spot after his soft-tissue injury. Beams should get plenty of game time, if he improves his effective % he'll be quality who could peak high.


Harvey has only had one good week, I know he's been a champion supercoach player in the past, but I think there may be better choices available at the moment. Mitchell is coming into form, Goodwin is solid in a high-possession team, and Joel Selwood. I like the Selwood option myself, this bloke's played 4 games, slight concussion first game, and split his cheek open in his fourth, still averaging 97. This is a player who loves the contested possessions, but Ablett takes more of his fair share off him!

Having said all of that, my score of 1781 last week (including Ablett captain) probably doesn't qualify me to give any valuble advice!!

have ablett and selwood. the idea was to strengthen either defence or forward, midfield is ok at the moment with ablett judd gibbs selwood rich tuck, skipworth and robinson. defence needs a strengthen, and ziebell is seventh forward at the minute. so i guess is there any great defenders at 500k give or take that are worth stealing now?

He barracks for Richmond there is nothing i could do that is more painful than that at the moment.

1781 this week for me. Tragic. Still getting my head around it, but a shame I chose my worst week so far to be the opening league game. Dammit.

Avg is 2024, which is an improvement on my first year, last year.

Obviously, after a score of 1781, the knee-jerk reaction is to trade, trade, trade. As i've mentioned in another thread, I missed the valuable commodities of Houlihan, Krakour, Hurn, Goddard early, and went with a gamble of Petrie over Cox. Not working. I'm sure Petrie will improve, but I lay some of the blame on Dean Laidley, who is murdering potentially his most influential player by sitting him at full forward

Possibly will trade Skippy for Krakour, but my forward line is too Collingwood-heavy, (Didak, Thomas, Anthony). Didak should be a keeper, Thomas and Anthony are potential trades. Because of the quality of my underperforming players I can make reasonably low-risk trades, but must wait until Thursday to do so. I can see training injuries on the horizon...

had a problem with skipworth, a few premiums underperformed again, only just cracked the 2000 this week, will be an interesting week with players coming back from injury and going down. didak had an absolute shocker, but guys like krakouer and higgins played well.

2153 for me, average of 2103. Annoyingly and consistently under par. I made several dumb pre-season decisions, notably picking a ruck duo of Petrie and Hille. I guess I'll have to stick with them and concentrate on other under-performers like Malceski and Mundy.

Very happy with my performance from the weekend.

Scored 2255 (should have been over 3000 but got scared from a back complaint rumor about Zieblell and started Walker over him )

Had alot of crappy scores from Fisher, Rance, Petrenko, Walker, Houlihan, M.Brown, Hille, Gilbee and Delidio yet still managed that decent score. Plenty of improvement to come. Have been so close to cracking the 3000 mark, last week it was 2297.


Overall ranking is a massive jump from 8,421 to 5,541. Judd Magic flying up the charts with a bullet!


Will be trading for Riewoldt this week to bolster my weak forward line so will have Roo, Pav, Lids and Boomer there now along with kraks, Ziebell and either Warren/M.Brown/Walker as my 7th forward.

Won all my 3 league matches including my debut in Bigfooty Div 7 and got the highest score in that so wrapped all around.

Only thing that is worrying me is that I seem to get an injury every week.
