Post your score, overall ranking, thoughts on SC from the weekend and what you will be thinking about going into round 11

An ok round this week scoring 2167. I scored about 350 more points than last week, but in a week of overall great scoring i slipped down to 91st in the rankings. I have dropped 69 places in 2 weeks. At least i get to spend 1 more week in the top 100 ;)

I lost all 3 of my league matches, including 1 to my girl by 5 points (OUCH!!) Chornes' injury in the last game really hurt me.

I had some good scorers this week but didnt get any of the massive scores in my team with Selwood's 136 being the best. Roo did ok as captain. I had 6 rookies on the park and some underperformers (im looking at you Buddy:mad:).

Well done to: Goddard, Grimes, Broughton, Judd, Selwood, Rich, Muston, Cox, McIntosh, Roo and Higgins.
Room for improvement: Chornes, Drummond, Goodwin, Gilbee, JBrown, MBrown, Buddy:mad:

Depending on Chad's injury, i will probably trade him out for SFischer or Newman this week. Any advice?
I have plenty of cash in the bank so i will also be looking to get Ablett back this week. Life will be a lot brighter with Gazz in my team :)

Im sure that there are a lot of BFers that had great weeks this week. How was ur supercoach weekend?

2216 happy with the score. won all games and cruising at moment.
overall ranking of 1353 and happy about that considering I'm playing this from Norway.

Bad players that let me down gilbert, chornes (injuries??) and gilbee
Pav,goodwin underperformed and that zeibell probably read all the write up on himself online and let that go to his head.

happy overall though

Scored 2365 and went from overall rank of 158th to 72nd so I'm happy.:thumbsu:

I traded Ziebell to Buddy this week which actually made me lose points.

Will be very hapy when I get Ablett this week so I won't need to worry about choosing a captain, I'll just have him perma-captain.:thumbsu:

2,147 to move down 115 spots. Not happy. I don't know what the hell is the problem with the team though. Here it it.

B: Goddard, Drummond, Newman, Gilbert, Cornes, Gilbee, Grimes (Rance, Cheney)
M: Dal'Santo, Judd, Selwood, Gibbs, Power, Cooney (Muston, Barham)
R: Cox, McIntosh (Jacobs, Spencer)
F: Pavlich, Deledio, Lovett, Franklin, Higgins, Krackouer, Walker (Chapman, Warren)

I think the above team is quite good actually. Midfield set, rucks perfect, a backline that should be all averaging 100's (WTF Gilbee, Gilbert and Cornes?!?) and a forwardline that only will need one upgrade (Krackouer) once Chapman is back in a few weeks. I just need the following to pull the finger out of their arse...

Franklin - 28
Cornes - 45 (injured?)
Gilbert - 47
Gilbee - 55
Krackouer - 72 (I'm $2,000 off of getting SJ. Arggghhhhhh. Possibly JB the week after and poicket cash, or Ryan O'Keefe who is playing a different role and dominating.)
Lovett - 73. Was averaging 100 in the five weeks before this week. Not trading him, it was probably just the fact that he played geelong.

Pretty decent score this week, 2288 and went from 8th to 7th.
Happy with
Selwood Broughton Grimes Goddard Newman Rich Lids Gia Volt (c)
Unhappy with
Hill and chadly getting injured, Pav, brown, brown, Drummond

Was automatically going to get in GAJ and Muston, but now with chad and hill injured it has got me thinking. Not sure if they will miss but I have no cover at the moment with raines and hodge on the bench.
Still got plenty of trades but not sure which backman to have a look at yet.
Would be trading otten to GAJ, so will have to do the numbers if injuries are there as to whether getting GAJ this week or not.

In a good position just need to make some good decisions.

shocking week, failed to crack 2000 for the 2nd week in a row with 1982, & slipping out of the top 1000, dropping almost 700 places! (not as bad as last week but still)

The list of dissapointments is as longs as Sandilands arm this week...
Buddy
Kosi
Bowden
Gilbee
Gilbert
Cornes
Goodwin
Pavlich

Judd as captain not the best choice for the 2nd week in a row, this week as long as he gets named GAJ comes in for Couglhan, solving all this picking captains difficulty!!

& whats really annoying is that they should have got me close to 800 points between them.. instead they serve up.... 443:eek::eek:
the only 1 with much excuse as far as I can tell is the Chad... made 2 trades for the week... bloody Higgins & Walker (212) for Kosi & wright (120) ARGGHHHHH Higgins would have gone anyway due to injury concerns (which he seems to have completely forgotten he had)... & I was sure Tex had topped out...

The kicker in the backline was a 90 from Broughtan on the bench

Happy with Grimes, Goddard, my Midfielders, Lids & ROK

(Sorry for the length of that guys, need to get that rant off my chest b4 work)

2207. better not too disappointed.

really unhappy with c cornes, hill, gilbert with their slight injuries. and buddy, ziebell and m brown. had walker on the bench with the injured chapman.

how is c cornes injury. how serious and will he miss?

won my league game that i care about by 22 points, so that was pleasing.

overall ranking 1287. not happy about that.

really happy i got 2349 for the week went up 629 spots to 809 overall. My forward line is constantly my weakest link each week with buddy and j brown regulary under performing i'll have to wait and see what i do about chad cornes in defence what will make it worse is one of my defenders who could cover for him is cheney and with melbourne playing on monday it makes it tough.

Much happier after this week than I was last week.

Scored 2,260pts. Ah it's good to be scoring over 2k again:p:D after 3 dismal weeks scoring under 1900:mad::(

Anyway jumped nearly 5,000 spots from 19,995th to 15,089th.

Picked up wins in all 3 league games & 1 opponent is ranked in the top 400 so was stoked with that win.:)

No trades were used last week so still sitting on 10 trades left.
Will definatly be going Out: Tuck In: Muston this week & not sure at this stage if I will use the other trade just yet.

Only real inj. concern to come from my team this week is the Chad so will assess that as the week goes on.

The let downs for this week - Gilbert (47) , Chornes (45) , Franklin (28) & Skippy (44).

The :thumbsu: goes to the rest of the team (too many to mention) but there were 3 scores in the 90's & 12 scores over 100 (inc. Capt. GAZ):D

Until next week.:D

2310 for the week to go up 6000 spots overall from 20,000 to 14,000.

Had 12 blokes score 100+ (as well as Callan Ward on the bench), too bad I've got Pendles instead of Swan it would have been even more!

How many trades everyone got left? I've 14, no injuries so I might not make any trades this week.

Scored 2,117 but am still about 17,000th!! Then again, never really concentrated on winni9ng comp, just want to smash my mates (Which I am happily doing) :D

Franklin was my biggest dod of teh week after trading out Motlop for him. And wasn't I gald after seeing him getting dropped!!

All of the "regular" scorers, i.e. the consistent guys were well down this week. Gilbee (55), Gilbert (47), Goodwin (79), Pav (80), Wirra (78).

What was really pleasing for me was the guys I took a punt on playing well. Grimes (110), Hurn (93), Harding (108), McGlynn (67), Rich (132).

But most of all, am I glad I chose Swan to captain this week??? :D Took the punt that Collingwood would monster Port and Swan would be into it up to his neck. After watching Judd & Bartel put in reasonable games I was pretty nervous that he'd let me down. A very handy 332 points... :)

Will try and get Muston in this week, Probably for Coughlan or even Kerr. That will leave me with 8 trades, about $750k and a few cash cows ready to cash in. Hoping that Ablett misses a week and it will improve my cash flow all the more as I intend on getting him at some stage.

I scored 2220 which moved me up from 2288 to 1980. I was happy with that considering it's my last week without Ablett.

Dane Swan was my star performer with 166 and Joel Selwood did well as captain. Rich was great with 132 in possible his last week in my team.

Bad scores from Gilbert (who seems off the boil), Chornes, Ziebell, J Brown and Hartlett. Special mention to me new prized recruit Buddy Franklin :thumbsd: I was wrapped to see my $220K investment from Taylor Walker work out so well. Ironic they played in the same match and the 19 year old kicked 5 while Buddy spudded it up!

This week's definite trade is Rich or Hartlett -Ablett but will ponder over forcing a trade just for the sake of Beau Muston. Chornes being injured may force a donut unless Rance comes back this week.

2287 - up to 2184th overall. Moved up 1000 spots exactly. I've been steadily moving up the overall rankings after horror first week, when I scored 1800 odd with Boomer as captain :o

Will bring in Muston this week for Coughlan or Otten. Will hold on to Cornes if his injury is less than 4 weeks.

I just don't get it...

Like most, the previous two rounds were bad. This round everyone seemed to come out of it, but not me. :(

Averages suggest I should be scoreing 2285 points however I only managed 1960

PLEASE someone tell me where the holes are!! last four rounds have been; 2037, 1896, 1876, 1960! WTF???

After scoring my worst score last week with 1951 I got my best for the season this week 2369... Moved 458 places to be ranked 481

Traded out Rich last week to Goodes and look what happens he plays the best hes ever played but luckily Goodes still out scored him :thumbsu:

Only a few let downs this week in Cornes, Gilbee, Franklin, Ziebell.
Happy with Goddard, Grimes, Broughton, Hurn, Sandi, Riewoldt, Deledio, Higgins. Extremly happy with my midfield this week Gablett(c) 150, Goodes 160, Judd 110, Selwood 136, Hayes 150, and Otten 94

Looks like everyone is going to bring in Muston this week ;)

2282, pretty happy with that. Although I still can never start the right one out of Brown and Walker. :p Only time I did was when Walker scored 120 odd.

Up to 789 in the rankings, first time inside the top 1000 and first year of SC so pretty happy with that.

Looking at off loading Waite this week to another premium back.

Well at least I scored over 2K this week- 2039. Lost my main league match, dropped outside the top 10K to 10,659. Really bad decision leaving Higgins on the bench and starting Ziebell. WTF was I thinking?

I should also kick myself retrospectively for my Walker-Buddy trade- cost me another 60 points (although I expect I would still have left him on the bench and still started Ziebell, but still). Thanks Buddy, thanks a lot. :(

Props to Gazza (again), Rioli, Goddard, Grimes, Judd, Selwood, new recruit Broughton, Rich, Lids, Gibbs and Big Cox.

Gardiner- you complete muppet. You’re probably out for 3-4 weeks, and unless Spencer or Jacobs get a game my ruck division is toast. I don’t have time for this crap. Everyone- you JUST DON”T HIT BLOKES IN THE HEAD.

Cornes- you’d better not be too injured. I’ve got enough on my plate with Raines, Malceski and Petrenko without having to worry about you as well.

Skipworth- I am very cross about hanging onto you for all this time.

Jono Brown- I still love you, but not as much before. If you want this relationship to work, you have some serious soul-searching to do.

My trading this week is full of exciting possibilities- perhaps too many. I think Tuck will go for Muston- he’s just too tempting. I still have 13 trades and $580K in the bank after dropping Waite to Broughton last week, so I am in a decent position on that score. One of the aforementioned backmen will become Drummond or Newman this week, and then the following week one of the others will become the other (if you see what I’m saying). I think I’ll then upgrade in the forward line- Skippy to Roo (boom-tish;)). Rucks will have to fend for themselves- can’t afford to lose sight of the main game at the moment.

2146

Dropped 8 spots to 23rd overall. Thought it would be much worse.

Duds
Malceski - i've been talking him up on here at every opportunity and he repays me with this shite.
Chad - gone for a few weeks I reckon. Calf injuries can be tricky.
Gilbert - might also be out next week. Hudgton and Goose are pushing for a spot.
Buddy - was well held by Bock, but he gets the worst rub with the umps since BBBH.
Jack Z - also looked sore at the end of the game.
Mundy - now his score had me scratching my head. 113 in DT and 63 in SC. I saw the whole game - he was good! I was fully expecting a SC ton. I just dont get it.

Studs
Capt Selwood
Goodes
ROK
Sewell
Lids
Judd
Kornes
Volt
Goddard
Cox

Regrets - 3 players I have traded out all had blinders. Rich, Higgins and Ablett. I've been trigger happy and its bound to bite me.
I bought Muston in before he debuted but left him on the bench 2 weeks running.:(

Trades - I'll have to wait and see how badly injured I am down back. If an opportunity presents I'll upgrade Purple Hase or Kornes to Ablett. Should get Dempsey and Stokes back this week. Maybe Cheney too (do it Bailey you fwit!). Anthony and Ballantyne aren't far away either.

Geez Skystyler, for someone who's made similar errors to me you're about 15,000 places higher. I always start poorly and play catch up, meaning my team is rarely settled.

I look like a millionaire in the last 5 rounds and it's always too late.

Finally got back into a bit of form after 3 terrible weeks in which i dropped from the top 1000 to almost out of the top 4k. Scored 2305, would have been better with broughton and walker both scoring 90s on the bench oh well.

Won all 3 league matches, including my div 5 big footy match, brought in ablett last week and the bleeding seemed to stop after consecutive well under 2000 scores.

thinking like everyone on bring in muston for Beams
May upgrade Ziebell, thinking J, Brown, always does well against the blues and should turn things around soon.

Second best result of the year posting 2,278. Up 877 places to 2,043. After a devastating 1,768 last week (I hate you Chris Judd) I improved my weekly ranking by 105,000. Funny thing is Im leading my league in points scored but am coming 12th on the ladder! Languishing at 3-4 after my opponent scored a 2,351 on the weekend.

Was tossing up all week whether or not to pull the trigger on the Rich--> Gaz trade this week or hold off. Decided to get the great man in last week believing that the points I would gain would make up for the points gained from the better upgrade I could make with the money later on. Was seething when Rich pulled out a 132. Clearly he was disgruntled after I showed him the door and wanted to prove a point. Given I would have made Selwood captain I made an extra 42 points this week and lost a sh!t load of money in what could have been. Gee SC's a funny old game ay.

Love me:
Gaz (1st rule of sc - Have Gaz. 2nd rule of sc - you get the point)
Goddard, Cox & Hmac (Has gotten sh!t done week in and out for 10 weeks)
SJohnson, Grimes & Newman (new recruits and very happy with their recent contributions)
Deledio & Selwood (Slow starters but producing the goods now)
Higgins (Deserves a massive fanfooty heart icon)

Gave a spray after the weekend to:
Buddy (putrid)
Boyd (wtf)

Have Adcock, Hoops, Roughy, Krakouer and Grimes all pencilled in atm as keepers given I have 8 trades left which disappoints me slightly. Have had many a learning curve this year which I believe will make me much better next season.

So what to do with Chornes? First reaction is to trade. No point in having $500k on your bench for all that time with no guarantee of averaging a hungy when he gets back. But was surprised to see many BFers saying they would hold on to him. I have Broughton (from the start) but dont really wanna have him playing given I already have enough dodgy players on the field. Want to get Drummond in but am $20k short (damn you rich for scoring so well). Alternatives are Fisher, Bock and Lockyer. Ah sc always a twist and a turn every weekend

Dropped from 865 to 2090th overall with a massive 1923 :thumbsu: lol

Lets see where do i start

Buddy 28:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:
Robinson 33:thumbsu:
M.Brown 42:thumbsu:
C.Cornes 45 :thumbsu:
Gilbert 47:thumbsu:
Kosi 54:thumbsu:
Gilbee 55:thumbsu:
Neon Leon 64:thumbsu:
J.Brown 65:thumbsu:

It can only get better from here right lol.Chappy and his dam finger and Spudrenkos older brother Robinson who is even spudier as my midfield em argh!!!!!!!!!!!
