I don't mind it. They are especially useful if you don't want to spend much time responding, but what to express something about the post. This now allows you to do that at the click of a button. There are definitely times when "agree" is more appropriate or says more than "like" and so on and those are the times when you can use those options and anyone that doesn't want to participate in it, or doesn't want to see who has responded to the post in which way doesn't have to.

Aussie I would hit the disagree button here, but it has disappeared. Appears that a few icons are taking a rest.

Clever move, add and delete icons every day. Keep all posters on their toes. What other icons are in jeopardy? What new icons will be introduced? Are they possibly going to introduce the Random icon? By clicking on this, we will at random, leave an icon, from the BF library of icons. This sort of all dancing, all singing iconography is what BF is surely after.

Any thoughts if BF will introduce a secondary line of icons, that we can use to post on the icons left for all posts. We can therefore get the chance to rate their icon choice, with another list of icons.

Is it a coincidence that this has been introduced now, with the Essendon drug scandal front and centre on BF? Would it be possible that Essendon mods have introduced this range of icons, to distract posters from venturing to the Essendon board, Main Board, or the Drugs, and Essendon are Cheats forums?

Im glad that button is gone. Nothing worse then spelling nazi on Internet. Who gives stuff if someone spells couple words wrong. Same as people quoting posts just point out couple mistakes. They need realise it's a forum, not a spelling bee!

If a button is added in a closed system; does it warrant a mention when you leave the basement?

Would tag Confuscius, the member, but then, I'd also have to pay attention to that and I so can't be arsed. So just imagine it was done.

Lastly, I also had a bad spelling mark, unfortunately it looks like it was removed so now all I have is green and no contrast. I suppose I should be thankful it's not yellow.

And another one bites the dust. Useful is my tip for the next to go. Funnily enough, its not real useful.

And like most teams in the AFL we have squads of players, fighting it out for spots in the senior team. Seems the same happens in the icon world.

Yup, back to "Like" for me, it seems.

I actually thought "Dislike" was an excellent idea. I think it has the power to take a lot of pressure off of moderators, by allowing us to do a mild form of moderation ourselves. If a person is offensive on our board, for example, and gets 30 dislikes from us for being a tool, that can be a dissentive against them being a tool again. That'll save on moderators having to trawl through threads looking for people to red-card so much.
