The NO excuse Pies

We went in to this game with the theory that nothing but a win would be enough. There were no excuses about short breaks, wet grounds, injuries....nothing. They wen't out there, every player contributed, and played like men on a day where you should play like nothing less.

The same can not be said for Essendon and their supporters. All I have heard is excuse after excuse. You lost, we were harder at the pill, we tackled well and got to the ball first, and you're lucky you wern't flogged. I think they're pissed because Matt Lloyd took a dive in the 4th quarter and didn't receive a free. P.S Clement towelled him all day long. Lloyd kicked 2 cheapies and had nothing else to say. He was scared of Clement's shadow.

I have just got home after celebrating a huge win and enjoyed the day at the G immensely, and took pleasure in seeing O'Brien take care of Lucas as well I might add. And watching Bryan add that hardness to the centre bounce as well as watch our young stars emerg.

Is there a better feeling than beating those f**kwits!

It was great to see the Collingwood Army at the Collingwood Stand end really get behind the team, the noise coming from that end was sensational just before three quarter time and in the final term.

The sighing and swearing in that last quarter after each set shot miss got louder and louder!

Russian, we will also have to announce the naming of the 'Alan Didak Flank' after he slotted another set shot through the big sticks from former Olympic Stand flank.

Unfortunately we haven't seen the Swanderful one jag one from his pocket yet in season 2007, it is only a matter of time however.

we will be christening the Alan Didak Flank. in memory of his two pearlers against the lions (semi final 03) and yesterday 'i only had a knee reco last week and i'm back slotting them through on anzac day infront of 90,000'

Will the Bronze statue that is to be erected outside the stand feature the one finger salute that he gave after kicking truely against the scum that is Port Power at AAMI stadium or the famous hand to the ear after slotting one through against the Lions in the second semi?
