You're not at your folks anymore?I don't think living with the other half is too bad. My missus and I are out my folks place until our place is finished, we know what each other is like round the house etc, so there will be no issues once we're out on our own.
TC is one of those internet guys who trolls their missusIt would probably help if you didn't continually troll her.
I demand this question is answered lol Cruyff14Lol what sort of question is that
How good are you / anyone you know at dismantling it and putting it back together? What's people's advice for getting a bed into an apartment? There's a hoisting company charging $650 for a Saturday and that's without labour to get the bed to the apartment and then loading/unloading it from the hoist. Anyone know good alternatives?

Moving a bed we already have, which is the tricky bit.
What kind of bed, what level are you on and does the building have a lift? What's people's advice for getting a bed into an apartment? so goodWonder if Cryuff would get up to much in SMs old bed...
What kind of bed, what level are you on and does the building have a lift?
I've got a queen ensemble bed and have always just carried it up the stairs with one other bloke but only to first floor apartments. If you can take the legs off you will be fine otherwise you could always hook up a rudimentary winch off your balcony with some ropes!Queen size bed, second level, and no lift. I'd hope I can just disassemble it but not sure.
How new is the bed? And how good is it? Might be worth selling it on gumtree and getting a new one if it's going to cost you $650 to get it in thereQueen size bed, second level, and no lift. I'd hope I can just disassemble it but not sure.

Is it theoretically possible to get it up the stairs, just difficult? If so there's also the option of paying man with a van to do it and just let them work out the logistics. We moved with them recently and doing all our furniture and appliances was around the $450-500 mark. It's pretty good quality, don't think the missus is keen to sell.
Yeah professional movers should be able to work out how to get it up there. $650 for one piece of furniture seems like a bit muchIs it theoretically possible to get it up the stairs, just difficult?
