jd2010 will tell you all about the drinks yesterday :tearsofjoy: :frowning:
You didn't miss much. The old campaigner organised drinks at a day rave and then only had 1 cider while I was there (that I bought). No wonder he is buying $600 presents and buying appartments and I'm not. I drink him under the table and then buy him his drinks!

Cos you got there four hours late :tearsofjoy:

Anyone have legal experience in here and an idea on here about how long inheritances take to settle without a will? I signed and submitted a power of attorney for legal representation in France for my auntie's estate (no will). Have been in contact with my legal representation, they say the case is still with the French notaire and they are awaiting for it to be turned over to them.

Can't comment about the French system, of which I know little about. But just using Australia's process as a reference - with no will it's can usually be 6-9 months for all procedures to be completed. Gets a bit complicated without a will.

Never seen the original IT, is it worth watching now? It came out in 1990 and I highly doubt I'll get a scare out of it.

The trailer for the new one looks bloody awesome but, super excited for it!!!

Only saw it once, which was more than enough for me! But I don't think it's age will hold back its scariness, it was still creepy as hell. Worth a watch still, this new one looks absolutely next level though. That trailer freaked me out, shouldn't have watched it at night time.

And ps, happy belated birthday Cruyff14 you old campaigner!

My case has been ongoing since November so it is getting rather frustrating. Myself & my brother are in the dark about the inventory of our Auntie's estate because she received government assistance from local government to stay in aged care and they may possibly want some compensation from her estate. So once that's settled we know exactly how much we get.
