The high court has decided that the original jury should have had doubt over guilt, having placed too much weight on witness testimony for the prosecution and not given enough weight to witness testimony for the defence.

Then that the court of appeal should have used precedence to set this conviction aside.

Essentially the high court has found that two separate courts have failed in their duty, and whatever you think of him as a man if that’s the case then he’s entitled to a fair trial.

I played 18 holes of golf today at a course just less than 3kms away. Perfectly legal or they wouldn’t have a timesheet out and be open. Your Premier seems to be the problem. Dictator and Commander who doesn’t use power carefully and doesn’t accept the role of the High Court as well.

We seem to have this under control atm so I've got no issues with what we are doing even though it effects me greatly.

Looking at whats happening overseas we are very lucky.

Maybe that tells you that the overseas figures are being greatly inflated? Covid19 deaths worldwide this year until the 3rd of April, 50,000. Deaths worldwide from the common flu, 124,000.

After the game ran into Pires / Wiltord & co at Heat nightclub but couldnt get near them with a large amount of females hanging around them!

Me and 3 mates went to Australia vs Uruguay in 2001 and then went back to the team hotel, my mate was a huge Inter fan and found out were the Uruguayan squad were staying hoping to see Recoba. About a hundred fans were outside the team hotel hoping someone would come out and as it happened Recoba came out about half an hour later, as the most well known member of the squad I am sure. I happened to be closest to him and put him arm around him where it stayed for about 10 minutes lol, whilst a girl in the crowd was translating questions to him. Incredible night and a great result (another Muscat special) in the match. I ended up getting his autograph but that is long gone. The away leg ****ing sucked too.

That second leg and the lead up to it had Australia rattled. Much different atmosphere to what were ever used to in Australia. In only the space of 8 years they had to play in Argentina, Iran and Uruguay at the final hurdle to qualify. Brutal!

I remember that penalty shootout like it was yesterday, some of the best saves you will ever see in a shootout from a keeper.

That is impressive!

I became a fully fledged football fan around 1993-94 and I vaguely remember the first match against Argentina on the TV at the time. What I do remember from the away leg is that Australia played well and I somehow remember there was a goal or 2 disallowed in the match but aren’t exactly sure of the details.

Was there as well, a full strength France squad was too good an opportunity to not go. Muscat really cleaned in up, horrible tackle. Looked like Muscat spat as well, ugly scenes.

It took me a long time to forgive Emerton for bringing down Morales (I believe it was) so unnecessarily and so close to the box. A perfect position for a set piece for Recoba to whip one in, and I knew they'd score. From there, it all fell apart.
