Haha yeah, for Trump to act he must be receiving some damning intel.

Tom Hanks and his wife both have the Coronavirus. Tom is on the Gold Coast filming a movie.
Mate so many more people must have it then we realise. Even our Health Secretary has it. I’ve had a cold for the last ten days and I’m probably sitting here with it for all I know!

That’s true.

I interviewed someone at work on Tuesday who had been off with flu symptoms.

I wasn't too bothered with this one as he is a known skiver but it got me thinking, at some stage I'll almost certainly be speaking to someone had it or still has it. So am I putting myself at risk?

Before then my biggest worry was a school trip to Paris my daughter is due to go on in two weeks.

But Tuesday really hit home to me how unprepared we all are for this. Today a staff member that has been self isolating on the advice of the NHS is due to come back in. I guess I'll be the poor sap sitting across a table from him in a few hours time if he does make it in.

Rumours that schools will be shut down soon, that's going to affect the business with staff needing to stay off to look after them. And that's even before you look at the likelihood of the virus spreading within the business.

Thought that schools stuff was just Rory Stewart being an arse?

Just a rumour at the moment, but have heard from two teachers (different schools) that it's a good chance. School hols coming up in a few weeks time so won't have as big an impact then.

Got a call last night from a mate who has tested positive for the virus. He is 13 days through the isolation period. Unfortunately, he made out with 2 girls last weekend and now they are in self isolation too. He also potentially infected half a while rugby club as he played last week and he would have used the water bottles.

My mate is a paramedic. The worst thing about it all is that despite being asked 3 times, he caught it off a patient that lied to him and said he had been tested for the virus when he hadn't. Selfish campaigner.

How does that work?

You just don’t know who you’ll run into that potentially has it, someone who coughs, sneezes, touches something you touch, there’s potentially so many people out there who have the Coronavirus but don’t know it and are going about their daily lives.

lucky prick :p

Yeah, sounds like a real hero. He has been isolating for 13 days (two fridays ago), kissed 2 girls “last weekend” and played rugby “last week”. You were right the first time, it doesn’t make sense.

If it is like that and I can comprehend words just fine, the patient isn’t the only selfish campaigner in the story.

‘I’m saying that *if* those activities happened 2 weeks ago as stated

Yeah, same. 13 days ago he was isolating and “last weekend” was 12 days ago (saturday) or 11 (Sunday). And “last week” might have been on a weekend or on a week night which would be even more selfish.

For all I know the girls might have visited him at home and he wasn’t thinking but the rugby thing is just weird.
