Yeah, same. 13 days ago he was isolating and “last weekend” was 12 days ago (saturday) or 11 (Sunday). And “last week” might have been on a weekend or on a week night which would be even more selfish.

For all I know the girls might have visited him at home and he wasn’t thinking but the rugby thing is just weird.

I’m not thinking about it as much as you clearly...

You know what else got me? Watching Bill Burr’s comedy consistently over the last 2 years and watching Breaking Bad 4 times in the last 3 years and only realising on my most recent watch that Kuby is played by Bill Burr.

Bojan quite clearly clarified that he kissed the girls before the two weeks...

I’d imagine “making out” means more than kissing. Anyway tell us more Bojan, was it a threesome?

Half a trillion of AUD shareholder value wiped off the ASX. Debts won't be able to be serviced sufficiently if the crisis deepens. Aus banks rely on overseas funding. It doesn't look good but I'm a couch economist at best.

glenferry23 what's your take on the economic impact of COVID? Potentially GFC-esque?

Also Bojan KantKick

It won’t be pretty mate, it already isn’t. Airlines will be hit hard. Underwriters not too far behind, very similar fallout to the GFC. However the sentiment this time feels worse, an existential crisis almost.

The panic/hysteria that’s been inflicted upon people is almost as infectious as the virus itself.

However regarding your comment, we’ve got a pretty robust banking system here. Overseas money is still available (although yes at the same volume is questionable), tier 1 and tier 2 capital remains extremely strong (thanks to Basal 3).

Bank stock here will take a hit definitely, I wouldn’t necessarily say to sell and dump it though. It will recover in time. The US stocks though is another mess, I’m glad I got out ever since that moron of a president was elected. It will be mayhem.

Mostly though, it’s then uncertainty of everyday living that seems to have destabilised people. It was amazing seeing the response to the bushfires, just 2 months ago. People handing together to help others in regional areas in crisis.

But once another crisis potentially impacts our life, some capitulate and hoard/fight over toilet paper. It’s sad to see.

For what it’s worth, if you’re going to stock up on something, I’d highly recommend it be items to complement/boost your immune system.

Vitamin C, echinacea, olive leaf supplements. At the first hint of any illness or sore throat etc, load up on this stuff and hopefully fight off an infection before it has the chance to take hold. Do the little things right and stay safe everyone.

Yeah saw a tweet from someone who said they went to Woolies to do just this, went straight to vitamin aisle and it was all 100% stocked.

But toilet paper is constantly out.

Bizzare. We’re often a society of followers. See someone else hoard toilet paper, and then panic sets in and we think we have to do the same.

There’s a throat gargle, betadine, which is always handy to have in your cupboard. At the first sign of any illness (this doesn’t just apply to the Coronavirus by the way, I’m talking generally here) just do the little things right.

Plenty of water, vitamin c and olive leaf etc, gargle with betadine, and after a day or two hopefully you’ve killed it before it had the opportunity to take hold.

1.5 million predicted to catch COVID in New South Wales alone. Yikes.

Edit** - and that's best-case. Worst-case, USyd infectious disease experts are calling half of the state's population. That's gnarly.

Not knowing what 'making out' means lol.
That’s an American term, we don’t use it here or didn’t back in the day. Having a kiss and a “grope” we used to call “getting off”. And I actually assumed when yanks said “making out” in films it meant going all the way, but like I said it’s not a term we used in the U.K. when I was growing up
