A new five year plan for Freo, does this mean the uncontracted, de-listed players, giving their marching orders get a reprieve?
Harvey had five years with the club, sorry to see him go, but you could see next year heading in the same directioin as 2011.

I think all our current delistings will stand, current contracts honored etc.

Lyon wasn't involved with player contracts at St Kilda so I doubt it's something he gets into. He'll be getting his preferred assistants and staff onboard and then turning his attention to holes in the playing list.

Pretty good list to work with.

2. Dominant Ruckman. check
3. Star Fullback. check
4. Rising stars. check

5. Missing depth and hard consistent support players.

It is a here and now decision. He has one off season to get this team to finals and maybe more.

The ball will be in his court as to whether they remain depth or they become A graders or delistees. He should take a hard line approach, that's what he'll be paid for. The one thing we lack is depth in the middle aged bracket of the squad.
