By challenging an opposing Captain in this thread you can double your score for a particular round. Be careful, though - if you lose, you score nothing!

There are two types of challenges: ​

A DON Challenge (Double Or Nothing) will double the winner's score for the round, while the loser will receive a ZERO score for the round
A HOHA Challenge (Half Or Half Added) will increase the winners score by 50%, while the loser will only receive half of their total score for the round

For a Challenge to be activated, both captains must agree. (eg Captain A posts something like:
"I challenge Captain B to a HOHA challenge for Round x" And Captain B replies with: "I accept Captain A's Hoha Challenge"). You may make multiple Challenges each round, but the first opposition Captain to accept will be the opponent for that round. You may Challenge any opponent multiple times, BUT NOT IN CONSECUTIVE WEEKS.

Please issue and accept all Challenges between 12.01am on Tuesdays and 11.59pm on Saturdays (except for week one, which may start now). Any Challenges made or accepted outside these times will be ruled invalid

Rules:

1. A challenge is only valid for one round.
2. Challenges must be made AND accepted within the times set out above
3. Once a Challenge is accepted, it cannot be welched on without BOTH participants' consent.
4. You may not Challenge the same player in consecutive rounds.
5. You may only participate in ONE Challenge per round. If multiple Challenges are issued by a Captain, their opponent will be the first opposing Captain to accept.
6. If a draw occurs, both captains are deemed winners and receive bonus points for that round
7. Obvious collusion will be dealt with harshly. The penalty will be a 50%reduction in both colluding captains' scores for the first offence and a zero score for any subsequent offences
