A topic brought up last year after our disappointing finish, but it's almost certain that some great stalwarts in Thompson and (one of my favourites) Frankie Peckett will have played their last games. At least it was in Melbourne...

But the loss of those two won't be as huge as many make out. They work hard but they are only fringe players, and Steven Powell hasn't looked good since the 2004 season. So I don't think it will decrease our chances of a flag next year.

If those three go, then the chances of Banger staying on might increase. Next year we need things to go right and not have so many injuries during a game, our '05 and '06 finishes to the season were eerily similar, hanging on at 3 quarter time and then getting blown away in the final term due to injuries catching up with us.

Pike is assistant coach of Adelaide, premiership player and very highly regarded by most clubs. Unlike GT who has never done anything(apart from shafting blight) and plays players who are not fit and out of form, playing favorites doesnt win premierships and thats what GT does with the likes of Kosi, Hamill and the Clarkes. 3 years and 3 wasted chances, the club needs to seriously consider someone who can deliver what the club deserves.

no, cos he most likely will be traded to carlton like their other washed up hacks who have propelled the club into the position of power and wealth that they now sit in at the moment. we have used our number one picks wisely to rebuild and compensate for harveys retirment. u havent used urs at all

Thats funny do the names Marcou, McConville Wow Jones ring a bell? And i bet perovic and Rice are glad to have premeiership medallions, something they would have never received if they stayed with the saints.Now out of your number one picks which one Goddard or cantkickwolt is going to be as good as harvey? The last thing St Kilda would want to do now is sack the coach and go with yet another rookie coach. It would be madness. GT may have his faults but he's no different to most that come into the caper - they improve with experience. To go a rookie now and destabilise the club would be lunacy (and don't tell me that's not the main reason so many opposition fans take an interest in GT).

IMO we are in a position to be better resourced as a club. Every part of the football department needs to be beefed up and IMO that would include bringing in some experienced assistant coaches. I don't have a problem with who's there, but IMO we need some new ideas.

It appears that you have an issue with anyone that doesnt share your "get rid of the coach" mentality.
