The Ruck Dilemna

Play Seaby & if you decide to offload him, Port would offer a high pick. Especially with Seaby pumping out that 152? odd dream team point game. He is AFL quality but geez, how many good to promising ruckmen are there at the moment (excluding port power who should have taken Seaby or Jon Griffin)

It's always been Mumford, Pyke, Seaby, White and LRT for me as Ruck candidates and suitable for FF (in order from best to middle ground)

So Mumford and Pyke for me.

Pyke or Seaby?

Seaby just had a BOG performance (arguably his direct opponent wasn't much chop)

Is his form this week against the Blues going to determine his chances for the rest of year in ruck, or is he simply keeping Pykes spot warm?

Pyke has gone past Seaby imo, and his physicality is certainly worth lots to our team. However should we make Pyke earn re-selection through ressies or do we bring him straight back?

Our ruck dept has never looked this heathy for years.Pyke was just starting to read the game well and progress as a fully fledged Afl player,
until his injury. He is a great partner with Mummy. Seaby is more of an old fashioned ruckman, i dont think he is as agile or athletic as the other two,but has plenty of experience under his belt to go with the best in the comp. Lets not forget Currie, our young up and coming Lad,who seems to be progressing every week. As the initial post states, there is a dilemma regarding who to play!

Unless Mumford is 100% I'd be tempted to rest him. Seaby does his best work when he's number one ruckman and it showed last week. I think Mummy's still our best ruck but I'd hate to see him rushed back and go down with further injuries. We have the luxury to get our best ruck to his best physical condition.
