Wouldn't think Lucas would be any chance, Wellman and Rioli must be close now as they have missed 4 weeks.
Hunt wont get a game, if he couldn't get in with Fletch and Wellman out last week he's no chance with maybe both of them returning and Richards good form across Half Back makes it even less likely.

I'd say from last week
Out - Hird, Lucas, Dyson
In- Fletcher, Wellman, Rioli

If Rioli and Wellman aren't available, I'd keep Dyson in and bring in Stanton.

Well apparently Rioli re-strained his hammy at training last week so you definately won't see him. Wellman's also a week or so away I believe

Rioli and Wellman won't play. Bolton is apparently a chance to come up by Friday night.

Assuming Bolton doesn't come up:

Ins: Fletcher, Winderlich/Stanton.
Outs: Lucas, Hird.

Dyson might be in the gun because he did very little on Saturday, but I hope he stays in the side.

I certainly wouldn't drop anyone.

Out: Hird and Lucas

In: Fletcher

Fletcher is the guaranteed, as is Bolton if fit. Otherwise i'd bring in Stanton or Winderlich.

I'd like to see Bullen get a run on Judd.

Backs: Mcveigh Fletcher Welsh
Half-Backs: Solomon Richards Bradley
Centres: M.Johnson Misiti Ramanauskas
Half-forwards: Dyson McPhee Murphy
Forwards: Lovett-Murray Lloyd Alvey
Rucks: Allan J. Johnson Peverill
Interchange: Stanton Haynes Bullen Hille

IN: Fletcher Stanton

OUT: Lucas Hird

Sorry guys, have been slack bringing this up the past 2 weeks.

Winderlich in for Bolton if Bolts doesn't come up

We can only hope the West Coast players are under estimating us as much as their supporters are at the moment, it proved costly for them earlier this year when they considered themselves certainties to knock us off at the Dome with a pretty depleted side that evening.

The "No Hird, No Essendon" theory carries little evidence (of course we'd absolutely love to have him out there, but what can we do in these situations?), those Eagles supporters expecting an easy 5 goal plus victory on the weekend will hopefully be very surprised... we shouldn't be under estimated, we were last year at Subiaco and it proved costly.

Lets not forget ... West Coast are 10th for a reason.

And the reason is that Subiaco is the only thing that has kept us from challenging Hawthorn for the spoon.

We've been really bad on the road this year, and only marginally better than visiting teams at Subi (whereas last year we dominated all visitors). A real lack of experience in our team means we are always vulnerable, but at the same time the raw talent on the park means its only a matter of time until we 'click'.

Eagles likely lineup:

B: Wirrpunda, Glass, Hunter
HB: Banfield, Lynch, Morrison
C: Wooden, Cousins, Butler
HF: R.Jones, Hansen, Judd
F: Matera, McDougall, Seaby
FOLL: Cox, Kerr, Fletcher
I/C: Sampi, Chick, Braun, Adkins

in: Chick
out: Nicoski (inj).

A little short, with only 6 real talls. With Lucas out, hopefully it won't matter.

Up forward it all depends on how our young talls go. Against the Hawks, Seaby and McDougall really 'clicked', but thats no guarantee this week.
In the midfield we're all class, Essendon will really miss Hird.
In defence we're pretty solid, despite being widely considered amongst the worst defensive sides.

We'll really miss Lucas and his long kicking on the big ground. I'm strangely confident though. I'm not sure why, seeing we're missing 3 of who i think are our best 5 players.

Hope we have a real crack like vs Adelaide.

but we've got fletch coming back in which will help with the long kicking, hopefully the young talls can step up and shutdown west coasts so Fletch can be released as a link man where we can make better use of his kicks, similar to how he was against the kangas from the half-back line. don't think he'll be on Matera this time, maybe McVeigh/Welsh/Solomon, like McVeigh a bit further up the ground with his pace and possibly a runwith role on one of west coasts gun midfielders. also we need someone to step-up up forward with Hird and Lucas gone, a lot of skill and experience gone there which is why mercuri is being considered as reported by sheeds. Dyson must stay in, need his pace and he's a good kick. Bradley up forward looked better last week, grew in confidence as the game went on and did some nice things give him a chance up forward. the dilema is with McPhee, great in midfield and forward - where is he needed most? up forward where we are without Hird and Lucas or in the midfield which is west coasts biggest strength?

Bolton is doubtful again. If he cant make it it will be interesting if sheeds plays a tall in hunt or goes with a mifielder with some speed to help on the vast spaces at Subiaco.

I reckon we can win this game which means we will probably get done.
