Funny you say that cause i turned off to watch a tape, when that idiot came on saying the South Dragons were duds. Thats all he ever says, I'd feel sorry for him if he didnt annoy me every night.

I think the hosts of SEN do what they can to pull him up, but its always tame. If a host hung up on him after warning him about polluting the airwaves with his insults and uninformed opinions i would be a fan of that host forever. (Even if it was Doran even).

I am half way there to having the Saturday night/Sunday morning streak named after me after winning it last night.

Won Doran's quiz on Thursday, Finey's one on Thursday night, and now the streak. I think that makes it close to twenty all up for me now.

Luke O'Brien is a top bloke. Mather and Franklin are also top blokes. OWAAT rocks.

Today's Age reports Bruce Eva is taking SEN on in an unfair dismissal case. SEN tried to block his claim on legal grounds, but Eva won and his case will be heard in early December.

I hope you take them for all their worth Beva. How SEN management could take sides with a hack announcer like Francis Leach and sack their best presenter is a joke.

did you know that when the show aired the abc got 6 phone calls about the segment... 3 complaints about it, and 3 saying good job, that was funny...

it wasn't till neil mitchell jumped on the airwaves and got his mindless drones all riled up about it, and got them to complain to the ABC... most of the complaints went something like "I didn't see it myself, but from what I've heard..."

anyhow, the public reaction to the segment only reinforces what the song was about in the first place, that the media are happy to grill people but once they die they're saints...

i wonder what the media would say if Chas got hit by a bus tomorrow?

How can anything that upsets families who have had members die be regarded as being funny.

Now would Mark Doran still defend it and say he could see why some would find it funny if the chorus went like this.

Nobody called them saints mate, but they also dont deserve to be denegrated when they are not here to defend themselves. Its cowardly, where was the song when these people were alive tough guys?

Ben Cousin's Lawyer on radio again with Doran and Robbo.

They're starting to sound like they're getting annoyed with the lawyer.

Sounds like he just got out of bed. Him and Doran talking to each other would be the most boring radio segment ever. Thank god Robbo adds some passion/energy to keep me awake.

I thought defendents hire lawyers to defend them AND make them seem better than what they are being perceived. This lawyer is almost making Ben look worse.

Hmm nope but that sounds very strange.
The only way katich could ever get back in the aussie side is in tests.

But he would need to show good form with the bat and with the ball.

If he could become a bit of an allrounder it would be helpful as we don't have Warne anymore.

He does have a few tests 5 wicket bags people have to remember.

But he hasn't bowled much lately so seems highly unlikely.

He just said that Cadel Evans won a tournament over the weekend.

Cadel won the UCI Pro Tour title, which is basically like winning the F1 championship, where it is the culmination of a series of races, not one race.

I heard the interview and nearly every question they asked was loaded to make Cousins look bad in some way or another.
