Latest is 3AW and MMM along with the ABC will get Premium A and SEN will probably get Premium B (slops). AW have reportly paid over $900k a season. Should be announced sometime this week.

Just heard his interview with John So and was embarressed at his school yard antics whilst So was talking. Sure we all know John So accent by now, but surely some respect for the guy as Lord Mayor and the listeners of SEN as above the intelligence of Brownless (which is not very high).

by the way. anyone else had problems with SEN's streaming? I always have the problem during the day. For the first time i got it working....here's how:

I went to the SEN website, clicked on "leave feedback" in the contact us page, then started writing an abusive letter D). Before submitting i tried to listen live again, and whatdoyaknow? it works!

chappys mum wrote an email to the station, read out on air just now rebutting ritas rant.

Not officially, although this article from Caroline Wilson will probably be close to the mark. She writes about SEN:

Under the two-tiered deal, 3AW and Triple M go head-to-head calling four of the eight weekly AFL games, including the Saturday afternoon match of the day. The ABC and newcomer SEN will each call five games, but will get second choice of matches on most Saturday afternoons and Saturday nights.

The AFL-SEN deal is all but signed. While network sources suggested last night that SEN may be paying as much as $1.5 million over three years, final arrangements have not been completed. As part of the deal, the AFL is expected to invest in SEN, a public company, through an options deal.

Good news as it guarantees SEN's future for the long-term. It will also will bring extra talent to the station and will turn their weekend lineup from their weakness to their strength.

im actually going to stick up for rita here,i reckon shes right i bet some of these partners of AFL players would not give a rats clacker about them if they were not footballers and i reckon the same goes for most high profile sports,ive yet to see an big AFL name with a really large woman near him at the brownlow
