In- Jones, Whelan, Sylvia

Personally I think their is no better time to blood the Kid, Whelan wont play or shouldn't but it will probably be Sylvia in Godfrey Out

I doubt Whelan will play if he does fantastic, also interesting to see that Miller is not in

Hopefully...

In: Whelan, Sylvia
Outs: Godfrey, Bell

Danners has said he'll make limited changes this weekend so there might not be any.

But Whelan surely must come in if he is fit as should Sylvia considering both Bell and Godfrey were poor last weekend.

I'd love to see Jones get a run though.....looks a winner just like the rest of our youngsters. :thumbsu:

Yeah, even though Belly may not have played all that well last week, I think it'd be a good idea just to keep him in so he can find some form.

Interesting that Miller hasn't been chosen.

I think we all agree that we want Godfrey dropped, but would you all prefer to see Bell or Ward in the side at the moment?

yep Sylvia and Whelan in for Godfrey and Bell, on melbourne website. Interestingly the dons have picked Lovett and Jobe Watson as emergencies, i think sheedy is playing games again no doubt. Not sure why Ward and Philthy are getting a definite starting spot, mainly Ward cos Phil played really well last week, i would pick Bell over Ward anyday, good to see Bartram and Bate persisted with, although they are holding their place on form, not just because they are young

Phil played really well, no qualms on him keeping his spot.

I'd rather Godfrey than Ward, but Ward at least has pace on his side, Bell is still developing.

I really wanted to see Jones play again  oh well.
This is a real danger game for us i feel esp with essendon getting some players back.

I wouldn't worry about where danners has them in the side at this stage. He's doing a sheedy and just playing funny buggers. What matters is who is in the 22 I reckon.

I think so too. Real danger game. We all know about our problems with complacency against the lesser sides.

I'm glad with these changes. I don't mind Ward getting a run again, always thought he has been a pretty solid player for us. Sylvia and Whelan are big ins

We've still got to make room for Brock, Miller, Wheatley, Brown, Moloney and maybe Bizzell and Ferguson.

Judging by what Trapper said in his press conference, it's looking like we're gonna want to open up a can on the Bombers. Smashing the Dons then Port at the G would do a world of good. I really, really wanna see Jones debut...More so than I want 426 to play...Oh, actually, I think I might take that back.

But yeah I think being complacent is completely out of the question this week, it would be lovely to see them take in the same mentality they had against the Pies. Carlton was a one off...Hopefully. We'll rectify that later in the season, don't you worry!

i think that someone should steal the Daniher photos from Godders and give them to 426.
Mr membership card couldn't get a game either. Maybe 426 is ahead of him in the line. Maybe.
