Was funny when they showed vossy laughing at the umpires decisions a few times. The group of old ladies who sit behind me who are normally subdued no matter what were standing up swearing their heads off.

Hard to argue the umpiring was anything but a disgrace, but so incredibly proud of our boys for fighting through and still prevailing. That's the first real against the odds win from this group, obviously the list was very different in the 09 final and 10 vs collingwood, so this could well be pivotal. Just can't get over how proud I am of them all today. What a win. Not even the umpires could stop that.

Nah. This'd be a good time for that flaming torch discussed in the other thread! Disappointment becomes much more real with fire involved.

Worth remembering he's only in his second year and playing pretty regularly. The fitness base will come.

Had virtually no pre-season. Geeze he's good when he gets it though. One to get excited about for next year.

Looping farking handballs,handballs to players that aren't in a better position and are about to get crunched. Stupid farking fend off attempts instead of trying to get rid of the ball quickly. Trying to barge through players even though it never works. Players back to the old carrouling the opposition player with the ball instead of farking going and tackling him

I like the boy but I don't see how McKeever is going to make it. Can't shake the feeling that he is a placeholder right now with a "COMING IN 2013 - JUSTIN CLARKE" sign on his back.

Could be I guess. I've worked as the only woman in the office for a long time, and I've noticed that particularly younger males tend to start slacking off if they notice anyone else not making the grade. Just an observation from my end, I could be completely mistaken.

I'm just glad the game wasn't over in the first 5 minutes.

Pretty sure they don't sync their bad patches Unless their love is as sensitive as some say...

Mostly disappointed with us giving up today. When the game was close, we fought and fought hard. Seemed to just roll over when they started getting away though. Times where earlier a tackle would've been laid, it was missed.

Also agree with McKeever and Hanley criticism. Was expecting so much more from Hanley, and Niall really needs to improve to double his current standard to be an AFL player. I get so nervous when he has the ball in hand.

Hanley is like a new born foal sometimes. He gets side stepped too easily and seems to stumble or fall over a fair bit.

Re-read it. I'd say about 70% of people picked us just by looking at the posts from yesterday and today.

Yeah, one poster had me expecting that moving Rocky into the middle would turn things around, instead the wheels came off completely.

Lucky Voss knows there is more to coaching a developing side than bumping up Rockliff's super coach points. For example, developing a group of 10-12 players who can rotate through the middle and make an impact, rather than continually relying on one or two players (which has just worked a treat for the last 5 years).

Keep the sage like advice coming oh one-line master coach.

We are a bottom 6 side this year. Hawthorn are a top 5 side. They've hit a good patch of form of late and it was ludicrous to think we would win.

Oh yeah and sack voss.
