Ben Jacobs on HB Wing vs Hawthorn, or Brodie Smith on Centre Wing vs Geelong? Only have two trades and 80K and Chappy/Gibbs with finals byes, so upgrading isn't reaaaaallllly and option unless you can argue the case.

Also, need to pick 1 to bench out of: Mzungu, Josh Kennedy (swans), Didak, Sylvia, Higgins. Do you guys really think Mzungu can be considered better than these other players against carlton where it is in the news he may be tagging?

Thanks for any and all help!

Mzungu was a soft tagger vs Saints last Friday Night and ripped out 114. Also Emergency Didak, 1st starting game back in quite some time. I wouldnt fully risk him just yet

I'm almost in the same position as you here, huggy.

Fyfe, Chapman, Okeefe, Franklin, Sylvia, N Reiwoldt, Didak, Mzungu, I Smith & Gilbert to choose from.

If Didak is not named as the sub on Friday night should I play him?
If Sylvia is named, should he start on the field because of his potential to pull out a monster score?
Does NRoo start because of his premium reputation, despite tough opposition and meh scores of late?

or do I ignore premo reputations and start in form rookies I Smith & Mzungu and bench 2 of Sylvia, NRoo, Didak?

My finals opponent in 2 of my main leagues has almost the exact same forward line, but has a slightly stronger team overall than mine. So picking a couple extra point of difference players could be the difference between winning and losing.

Mzungu is averaging just at tick under 90 @ Pattersons from his 6 games there. Plus he has played midfield over the last couple of weeks, and looks set to do so against Carlton as well. He's averaging 90 from his last 5.
Scores of 108, 61, 83, 84, 114 with the 61 being against Sydney in Sydney which is not to bad considering. His last 5 game average is as good as Okeefe who is my #3 ranked forward and better than my #4 Franklin's last 5.

IMHO Mzungu is now a premium who is playing at home. There for he should be treated as such and played ahead of out of form DT players like NRoo, Didak & Sylvia.

I Smith is also in good form, but has been less consistent than Mzungu and has been a sub a few times. Playing against Port though, he could potentially tonne it up again, but is a riskier option, as is Didak.

Didak as your emergency, 1st full starting game in quite some time but hasnt been able to rack anything together with a preseasonless 2011.

Maybe next week for Didak

This is more who do I bench.
Colin Sylvia, Jared Brennan, Nick Riewoldt v Collingwood or Buddy with that possibly iffy hammy??

Need 1 on the gound out of dids, swallow, mzungu, smith
And 1 to trade

I am thinking of upgrading swallow for a mf gun
Didak on the ground (pending sub) mzungu for emergency

Exact same dilemma. Tossing up between Sylvia and Roo. Roo has an excellent record at Ethiad this year but Collingwood is different.
Sylvia should be determined after being dropped also. Might take a chance with him seeing as Riewoldt wont score much more than 100 if that.

Need to bench one of Sylvia, Mzungu, and I. Smith

Thinking Sylvia, as Mzungu has been scoring well recently and is playing at home, and Smith has port…

Seems like alot of people are spoiled for choice with fwd options this week! Sylvia being the big question mark, named in a fwd pocket not sure how much midfield time/ball he'll get.. but I assumed he'd wanna play a big game.
Im gonna back him in personally and put him on the ground, always have to back your premos I reckon.

Now ZSmith being "rested" and played as a fwd (higher ave) or Bailey (lower ave) vs Port with Lobbe as their ruck?

Thanks for your help!

Any ideas on Brodie Smith vs Ben Jacobs?

Smith for mine...

Which defender to bench - Fisher, Enright (no scarlett/milburn), Broughton (v blues), Adcock or suckling?

Got a stacked forward line this week! ATM im going Mzungu, Sylvia, NRoo and Smith on field whilst leaving Higgins and Didak out. Only real dilemma i feel like i'm facing is NRoo. Can see Collingwood just dropping Reid in front of him and starving him big time!

I'm starting Mzungu ahead of Riewoldt.

Last 4 games against Collingwood Roo has scored a 71,71(GF2), 96(GF1),76 or something similar.

Starting Mzungu and leaving out Riewoldt can offer a little more difference between teams in a final.

In the backs Birchall, Broughton Heppell
Mids Bartel or Priddis
& fwds Mzungu or Sylvia

I'm thinking

Heppell & Broughton over Birchall
Priddis over Bartel
& Mzungu over Sylvia
Thoughts?

Sandilands or Hale?

Leaning towards Hale. Has scored nice and consistently int he 80's recently and shouldn't be troubled by Port. Sandi definitely a risk/reward situation, but first game back I feel like the risk is a bit too high.
