The Simpsons………….. Dar da da da dar da da dar da da da da !
In the latest episode of the Simpsons Bart & Millhouse are playing Aussie Rules Footy for Springfield against arch rival Shellbyville. Bart is a star & plays at full forward of course Millhouse his buddy plays right beside him in the pocket. Bart is unmistakeable, with his trademark haircut & is having a pretty good game kicking a few telling goals, while Millhouse is doing alright also. Barts dad Homer is standing behind the goals as usual as is Millhouse’s dad, cheering their boys on.
Anyway it is midway through the last quarter & Springfield are giving Shellbyville a real touch up, leading by well over 12 goals. Shellbyville have a large contingent of vocal supporters that have positioned themselves behind the goals, in the pocket…… they have been drinking all day & are becoming very obnoxious & aggressive. They start to verbally harass Bart & Millhouse saying terrible things about Marg & even Lisa, all the time not knowing that Homer & Millhouse’s Dads are standing just up from them. Well Millhouse’s dad marches over to them & tells them to shut the **** up & stop saying those horrible things about Marg & Lisa…… their drunken Shellbyville response is to punch Millhouse’s dad to the ground & start kicking into him. Millhouse & Bart turn around & see this & respond like anyone should when they see someone….. anyone being assaulted in this manner, they stop playing & go to the assistance of Millhouse’s dad.
One of the Drunken Shellbyville Cowards involved is a Star Aussie Rules player in the National competition - Rainier Wolfcastle, he is on Capitol Cities playing list………..But him & his old man finish up bleeding like an episode of Itchy & Scratchy anyway, so justice prevailed there !
Meanwhile back at the game Springfields coach “Willy” sees the terrible incident unfolding & instructs his runner to get both Bart & Millhouse off the ground…… but Principal Skinner sees it too & instructs the Emergency Umpire to Red Card them & get them off as well moments after. The runner is able to get Bart off & he is replaced, but Millhouse is Red Carded off before the runner can get to him so Springfield are down to only 17 men on the Field.
Then, in what must surely rank as the most despicable act of the day the Shellbyville coach “Sideshow Bob” tries to take advantage of the situation by instructing his runner to call for a Head Count of the Springfield players thinking that BOTH Bart & Millhouse have been Red Carded Off……. When in fact only ONE had been !
The count is hurriedly taken by the umpires & the numbers are correctly verified…… The opportunistic ploy by Sideshow Bob fails & the Umpires Award a free kick to Springfield right in front of goal, which they convert, justice prevails again.
Shellbyville look more shameless by the minute once again !
By now a huge melee has developed behind the goals & Chief Wigham has arrived with many of his colleagues………. Way to late as always !
Anyway the game plays out Springfield go on to record a massive win against Shellbyville, who scuttle off home with their tails between their legs & Goodness Triumphs over Evil…….. & everyone lives happily ever after !
NO ! apparently not, this is a “ To be continued “ Episode, so stay tuned !

Bart & Millhouse have now found themselves on Report for their heroics in the big game Win & now have to front the Tribunal which is to be chaired by the lovely Miss Edna Crabbople.
Karl & Lennie who are coach Willies helpers, decide that the only way to get Bart & Millhouse off so they can play in the Grand Final is to get someone really really good & famous to defend them. So after much thought & deliberation they hatch a plan to enlist the services of Lionel Hutz, representative to the stars !
Many witness’s come forward offering to testify in Bart & Millhouses defence so as to right this terrible injustice……..another teams coach Crusty the Clown volunteers, as does his assistant Sideshow Mal, Kent Brockman saw the whole thing too & cant wait to spill his guts even Shellbyville star player “Kleatus” who is disgusted by the whole sorry affair makes the journey to the Tribunal to tell his story.
Everyone is there on the big night, Moe is taking notes of the proceedings, Barnie is helping Edna out in an official capacity, Waylon Smithers is prominent & even the all powerful Montgomery Burns is in attendance………… this must be big !
What possible hope do poor Bart & Millhouse have ?
Anyway the case goes ahead………….Bart & Millhouse tell their stories, Edna whilst obviously very nervous listens intently to all the evidence doing a brilliant job to oversee such a huge & important case. After some time & much deliberation Edna & her Tribunal perspicaciously come to a verdict……………. Bart & Millhouse are guilty ! ………… guilty of doing a good deed, guilty of doing the right thing !..................... Hurrah justice prevails again !
But wait,…. they are guilty so they must be punished…….so…………….Bart & Millhouse……… ONE WEEK each !.. Suspended sentence !.................. YESssssssssssss!
